Ha ha- Cuban hasn't forgotten last offseason when Morey beat them to Howard AND then phoned the Mavs to ask if they'd trade Dirk! Cuban felt like he was rubbing his face in it at the time.

Whats your beef with Morey?
Morey is an a**hole- many examples of this have been posted. It would be nice to see him get a taste of his own medicine. Hopefully Bosh can string this out for a few more days.
Morey should have just picked up Parsons option for this year. The reason he didn't was so we couldn't ask for him as part of a sign and trade for Melo (if it came down to that). This was kind of risky, because if the Rockets had lucked out and not signed any max FA this offseason (and they did get lucky if Lebron decided to leave the Heat), they would still had to have maxed out Parsons, limiting their cap room in the future and making it impossible for them to sign another max free agent.
Still, it's kind of worrying that guys like Chandler Parsons and Hayward are considered max contract guys- it looks like in the future, any player with potential will get a max contract as soon as their rookie deal is up.
Asik can't be moved until 12:01 last nite.
Bosh has to sign first,if they sign parsons first no room for max offer with Bosh.
Morey been biytch slapping other GM's of late and I get the backlash. Poison pill is fun but in the long run it costs. They will need to add a first round pick to move Lin.

Or they can get Reezy at a smaller price???
Asik got them a pick. Lin will cost them a pick. They like Beverly.
Haslim opting out. My take is he will be taken care of, same with Wade.
Riley can't be too upset. He's like the women who steals a man, marries him and then would be "Shocked" if he cheated on her? I doubt it.
Riles got two rings to his legacy.
Bosh on Rockets, if they can retain Parsons will a very balanced team.
20 year old Karosav to Nets was a 1st round pick. Billy King seemingly doing ok getting yoothier. With him, Merkel and Karosav was like adding 3 no.1 picks this year. Not stars, but Teletovic and Plumlee stepping up last year is making them younger.
The russian paid 90mill in taxes for last season. INSANE!!!!!

I would love to get Jones and Motiejunas. It's to bad that they will not be look at. I belive Shannon Brown non-guaranteed would do it but I'm sure Morey wants a pick or they will all go to Philly. If Sam Hinkie wasn't a former Houston staffer maybe he would have gone for Shump for Jones/Monti.

Some good value assets when teams shed cap. nets and Celts got a good deal from Cavs. Rockets shedding provide an opportunity for a team with room.
CBA works in mysterious ways. In a way it redistributes. Those shedded assets can be used on the court or as part of a trade down the road.

I agree. Morey is lucky he has a relationship with Hinkie. He needs to not try to 'win' his trade sending Lin to Philly.
Media says Lebron's agent met with cav's but not Lebron in person.
Media says how crazy that is.
Maybe Media not told of a meeting? Lebron the last week in June was "on vacation". Whats to say he don't jump on a private jet and meet them somewhere? video conference with Blatt on how his game plan will work?
Maybe Lebron picked Blatt as his coach for Clev? Makes sense, they fired Mike Brown whom had 4 years left on his contract! Fired Signed Kyrie to max where previously said they would not.
Not sure Firing Chris Grant was part of this conspiracy but perhaps instead he gained the ire if Gilbert for all his moves the last three years and the team struggled. Mabye it was Griffin who convinced Gilbert that Lebron might be open to a reunion and how the team should be positioned for the event as we have seen it unfold. Maybe Lebron stays in Miami but Cav's made a nice power move and while losing Jack and assets are not fatal, they should be in great shape going forward either way.
In hindsight one can see a pattern of decisions that tell a tale.
Video conferencing is probably right. Imagine if he did meet with cave in person, media knew about it, and then he decided not to go back there. It would be bad for his image. In any case, it still is gonna hurt him in his hometown if he doesn't go back now.

I'd think by now if Clev was not heavy in the mix Lebrons camp would put an end to it. He don't go, it does not add to his image in Ohio.
For all we know, there could be a shyt storm of things not expected but thats not usually par for the course. Carton and Boomer pretty much all morning talked as if Melo was coming back but never really verified a thing. Same for Lebron.
Funny, if Media does not know about it it must not be true!!! Lebron could not be public about any meeting for obvious purpose. He also has to respect Riles and the last 4 years.
Nice picture of Lebron in NY uni! Looks good.
Golden State 9.8M trade exception expires today. Warriors still exploring.
Sign and trade is a good idea, at least it keeps the clock from starting.
Maybe Morey is playing cube???
No sign and trade for parsons. Mavs delivered offer sheet.
