Someone suggested that Lebron and Melo are waiting for Bosh to decide- if Bosh goes to the Rockets, Melo and Lebron will sign in Miami (with Wade). No idea if it's true or not, but it would kind of explain why Melo and Lebron are procrastinating and being so secretive. We would be royally screwed in this scenario because we would get absolutely nothing.

I don't know- they all seem to lack the personality/leadership needed on a championship team. Some good talent though, and makes more sense than Melo on that team.
The problem is it seems like Bosh is waiting on LeBron. Otherwise, Bosh would have made an announcement and/or signed with either Miami or Houston already.

Because Miami does not have Melo's bird rights, I think the pay cuts to fit him in would be pretty silly. While Melo is an upgrade to Bosh, Their defense takes a huge hit. I know Bosh gets a bad wrap but his defense, reboudning and shot blocking are pretty good. Stat wise you'd have to look at 4th qtr intangable stats.

Not really. His rebound has gone down over the last few years in miami.

I think the delay is completely intentional now at this point. I have a feeling LeBron is staying in Miami now and I think Melo is going there... and I am perfectly fine with that.

Yep, they just have to sign Bosh first, and then can go over the cap to sign Parsons (his cap hold is only a couple of million). I don't see why they wouldn't- even if they don't want him they can trade him easily and get some pieces back at the trade deadline. I don't think they have the personalities to win a chip, but I could be wrong.
Actually, the Sixers really have the Rockets by the balls now- the Rockets are on a 2 and a half day time deadline to match Parsons contract- if they don't shift Lin's contract they could lose Bosh and Parsons. However as the Sixers GM is a friend of Morey's, I doubt he uses the situation to his advantage.
The Rockets should totally keep Parsons.
Does Wade bolt Miami now? What happens to McRoberts and Granger? Given that this is the official signing period I could see them going back on their agreements as they only could have been verbal.
