Chicago Bulls begin pitch to Carmelo Anthony

CHICAGO -- The Chicago Bulls are making the hard sell for Carmelo Anthony.
The Knicks superstar free agent arrived at a decked-out United Center on Tuesday in a limobus with coach Tom Thibodeau and two other people, a police SUV trailing them.
He walked past the Michael Jordan statue, waving to a small group of cheering fans as he went inside.
The United Center featured posters and banners with Anthony in a Bulls uniform wearing the No. 7 jersey.
The Bulls believe they have a strong pitch: Anthony can team with Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah and put them in position to win an NBA title. But Anthony is a top target in NBA free agency and he is expected to visit other teams.
Broussard reporting that Lowry to Houston is not happening. Morey wanted to do a sign and trade with the Raps.

I'm thinking "He got Game" with Noah taking the role of Rick Fox. He seems like the perfect guy for that role. Plus Lala is already cast. I just hope the fun twin scene is deleted from this movie.

They would both have to take significant pay cuts at around $7M give or take. They could go for one big FA and then go vet min fishing. Call up Carter and Marion to to replace Lewis and Battier.

I say nay on Brand. Meeks is a good fit for Detroit, but I'm surprised he got $6.3 per. I'm surprised NOH would want Monroe. Do they plan to start a Brow, Asik, Monroe front line?
Brand as back up on a one year deal? No biggie.
Vet experience needed. Its not like he is in the way of a championship.
Lots of names to throw around early.
