I say nay on Brand. Meeks is a good fit for Detroit, but I'm surprised he got $6.3 per. I'm surprised NOH would want Monroe. Do they plan to start a Brow, Asik, Monroe front line?

1- Lebron

Lebron seeking a MAX offer for 1-2 years max contract (which would be the same year Kevin Durant and Noah would be UFA's)
With both Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh's contracts still be discussed but Wade's will likely be in the 10-12m range, with first year being 12m which is much lower than his 24m guaranteed deal that he opted out of, sacrificing for the better of the team in order to leave Riley with the flexibility to either pursue CA, or UFA's Lowry/Deng/Gasol

The message to Phil Jackson, preserve cap space for both Durant/Lebron, possibly even Noah for 2016-17 (if not Kevin Love for 2015 which would be in the range of 15-16m)
Lebron could also be available for 2015, NEXT summer, if it is a 1 year, player option, and 2nd year being 2016-17
I think Lebron is looking to be the NEXT Jordan/Pippen like combo, possibly in NYK IF we can surround him with the ALL STAR's and talents to show we can contend for a ring

With Wade expected to be demanding a 4 year deal and Bosh demanding a 5 year deal, it seems likely that Lebron has already made up his mind on leaving the Heat for the future
Though nothing here is official regarding Wade/Bosh, even Lebron is currently "rumors but would make sense with Durant being a UFA and the things that Lebron has said about Durant the past year"

Isiah Thomas
Offered 3 year 24, to RFA Isiah Thomas, though the King's may match but is unlikely at that price with his market value being 6-7m

Both these moves would tell me that they are not too fond of Brandon Jennings game and likely would be available with some assets, in addition to giving more time for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope a BIG combo guard, to continue to grow/develop

2- Shaun Livingston signed contract of 3 year 16m, (though final year is not fully guaranteed with partial guarantees)
I see Livingston as a replacement of Jarrett Jack, his ability to defend 2 positions, sometimes even SF with his length/size, allowing Curry to play OFF and on the ball, with Livingston doing the same and playing

Looks like they're going that extra mile. Doubt from Rose's earlier proclamations that he wanted to do this. Bet someone exerted some pressure on Rose to do it. My guess anyway.
