Hopefully Melo stays or possibly Phil does a sign and trade with the bulls and the Rockets have to keep Parsons at 15 mil per. Nice that Morey gave up a bit to get rid of the poison pill deal he gave lin.

Melo wants the most money AND wants to win right away. So basically he wants his cake and to eat it too.

Cake is pretty much useless if you cant eat it.

There was a 5 min span in my life where I actually understood the expression.

Im just so tired of the Melo stuff. Excited to see hardaway early and larkin do well today. I trust Phil in a sign and trade because he seems to know how to get good young talent

5 years $118M?! That makes me happy, Houston is pissed and Miami is committing to a treadmill team.

Does this solidify Melo's $129M?

Yeah, I think this means Houston is out for the count as far as Melo is concerned. Too many pieces need to be moved in a short amount of time. I feel so sorry for Morey and the Houston fan base.
newyorknewyork @ 7/11/2014 6:00 PM
Houston was a better option for Bosh.

Wait why did they do he Lin trade if Bosh wasn't locked up?

The east should actually be more interesting this year- a bit more balance (depending on what Melo does)

bosh gets to be the man again, i guess. maybe he wanted more spotlight and cash rather than titles for his "brand."

I'm loving the fact that ESPN are the last ones to report the James and Bosh signings.

Wonder if its intentional...

Just saw that. It's hard to follow Twitter when the Brazillian Durant is playing. There needs to be a media moratorium until the Toronto game ends.

I am not sure how great things are in Houston. I heard a reporter on espn that said he spent a little over a week covering the rockets and the vibe between Dwight and Harden isn't that great. Also I think they need to upgrade from McHale at the coaching spot.

I've always got the impression that Dwight may not the easiest guy in the world to play with. Dude is a bit flaky, for sure. But I don't think that's the issue. I think Dwight earned the reputation of being two-faced after SVG flap. He also seems like the type to quickly throw his teammates under the bus.

Isaiah Thomas to Phx. What does this mean for Bledsoe?

Isn't Indiana rumored to be in the mix for Bledsoe?

Things are moving quickly! Melo looking increasingly lame.
