Free agent guard DJ Augustin has reached a two-year, $6 million deal with the Detroit Pistons, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.
seems like joe dumars still running things in mo-town
Didn't realize Parsons was the captain of the Rockets. Don't mess with Cuban.

Wow, Phil should have called jeanie to work a S&T. Dalembert, odom, brown, and Tyler is probably near $7m. I guess pau didn't want to play in NY. He went to the better team though.

That's just the fluff to get his salary up to 7m you would have to inlude a future sweetener. However, due to the fact that I tend to dimsiss bargs and amare I forgot that one of them would have to come off the books. Teams are not taking on Boozer(legit off. Threat) expiring so I doubt LA would have taken Bargs/stat unless phil and jeanie skirted the rules a little. Even thats not possible because her brother runs the basketball side.

this relationship may turn out to be a war of the roses. They are not gonna help each other. They are competing with all they got.
Jennie is not the GM.
Gasol is a "Last piece of the puzzle" type player. They have Noah and Gibson on the front line. He is the third. Pau would be our best front court player. He will miss games. WE thin our front line and get him, he can't handle the load and come playoff time he is shot.
Sound familiar?
"Phil should...........This.......Phil should that........"
Phil is looking further down the road. Looks at taxes, looking at potentially bargs being better, and perhaps Amare. Get to february and we not killing it Amare might have some value for a team looking to make a playoff push if he is healthy and doing well.
Pau talk was and subsequent siging somewhere else was not "failure" but an attempt. If he really wanted to be here at a price then you have see if a sign and trade would happen.
As it turns out his two "finalists" was SAS and Chicago, two legit contenders.
Seth Curry, Phoenix Suns | Grade: A
It runs in the family, right? Seth brought an NBA vibe to the proceedings, as there was something comforting about seeing a Curry wearing the No. 30 jersey bomb from deep and deliver daggers. Curry finished with 26 points on a tidy nine attempts, and with perimeter shooting at a premium around the league -- just look at what Stan Van Gundy’s paying in Detroit -- you have to think Curry helped his chances to land a roster spot this season with this barrage.

Morey fucked up big time losing Chandler Parsons for nothing. Bosh and Melo scenarios really blew up in his face.

Yep, he should have used the remaining 12m or so in cap space on either
Lance Stephenson
or
a combination of talents from
Deng/Marion/ and/or solid role players, Bayless/Sessions etc and try to win it with DEPTH
WHILE matching Parsons or at least extending his services for another year at 1m by NOT letting him out of his contract
OUT of all GM's he should have expected this with all the enemies he created as douche GM
I see D12 opting out and leaving if they do not add another ALL STAR level talent to their core, becoming a UFA and teaming up with a Durant/Noah and some other solid teams
While NOT paying Hakeem to help him develop his post game for free in the meantime, fully utilizing The Rockets

And his first round pick, chosen mainly because he didn't want to sign a rookie this season and wanted to keep him overseas, is embroiled in a contract dispute because he wants to come to the nba this season.
Bulls trade Anthony Randolph to the magic with 2 picks to free up space. Magic plan on cutting him- remember when we were delighted we traded Lee for him?! I still refuse to accept he has amounted to nothing- sign him and give him another chance!
Very surprised Devin Ebanks has not gotten a contract yet
He has been playing well in the D League, could follow the many G/F's that have developed over the years in the D League
At 6-9, 220pds, he has improved much since his days as a Laker, he could be a serviceable rotational player with his improved 3pt shooting in my opinion, still only 24, at G/F
As a SF/PF, I really liked James Johnson do to his size at 6-9, about 250pds, with great length, solid DEF, and average athleticism but impressive considering his size/strength/length/age
Some guys to ever reach their "potential" but he still is young, even though that knee surgery took away some physical abilities away from him, he has the talent to be a rotational player in the NBA
As for Anthony Randolph, I wish the Knick's would have picked up those 2 2nd round picks, even losing our player exemption gained from the Dallas trade
While Tyler/AR will likely battle out one spot to push each other and a good practice player that are young
Ed Davis might be a nice pick up.

Yep. Don't rub it in Cuban's face the next time you get a free agent the Mavs are going for.

Randolph is still only 25.
Nets resign Alan Anderson for 2.6 mil fot 2 years. Nice signing.
