A conversation that Carmelo Anthony had been pursuing in recent days, sources tell Yahoo: With Pau Gasol, about playing together w/ Knicks.
It's odd that the Bulls and Knicks are both in LA on the same day, right as Melo makes his decision- I know all the talk is of him re-signing with the Knicks, but I wonder if they are working on a sign and trade.

I kind of figured the Knicks would meet Melo in LA since Phil, Rambis, and possibly fisher still live out there. This would be a nice group to talk to Gasol too.

The various rumors are:
OKC front runners for Gasol
Gasol waiting to see where Melo goes
Gasol and Melo on Bulls
Gasol and Melo on Knicks
LA and NY front runners for Gasol because culture of cities is important to him.
So the media have all the bases covered!
Knicks play in NYC, but basically have a base of operations in LA bc of Jax.

That's 3/5 for Melo/Pau so that means they are not playing together.
ESPN is reporting the LeBron's agent is in talks with multiple teams. Suns, Rockets,Mavs, Cavs
this summer has solidified the nba as the most homo-erotic league ... wwe got nothin on all this.

I realy just think they are just putting on a show leaking rumors because of the report a few days ago about the CBA does not allow prearranged restructured contracts.

Wow. The Rat could be crushed by 2014 free agency.
Some speculation that the Lakers are going to use the Stretch Provision on Nash's deal.
Bosh would be a beast on the rockets. He fits what they need. I think Melo is a bigger talent and you make that work but Bosh fits with their roster. Do the Rockets put Bosh in Canaan's jersey to recruit him? It would be really funny if they didn't.

I think Bosh would look good there and would do well with the 2 big style the Western conference like to use. He would have to pick up his rebounding but maybe McHale would help with that. He could still space the floor but I would like him in the paint more.

I agree. Also, I would love for the Heat to be broken up. Some of my favorite knick memories are the Knicks eliminating the heat in the playoffs when Riles was coaching.
Bosh should really move on. He won his titles- now its time to re-establish himself as a star, as his game has gone down the tubes somewhat. Bosh definitely complements Dwight and Harden well. He could also star on a few other squads as well. Maybe he should go play for the Lakers...

It would be a nice addition, but it doesn't address Houston's biggest needs. The rockets need defenders at the wings and a new coach. New uniforms wouldn't hurt either. Maybe freshen up the dance team...
