BUT Carmelo didnt get the welcome-please come to Chicago by Star PG Derrick Rose.
If MELO cant decide BULLs is his best place if not NY, then look no further than Derrick Rose lack of
involvements in the pitch process. Don't get me wrong I like Rose, I like Melo and would like him to
remain a Knick for right $$price however Melo may stay with Knicks as reported OR bolt both NYK & Chi-Town
if he leaves.

i see some potential factions in chicago.
noah emerged as a brilliant player in rose's absence, in particular his passing prowess. he is actually a superior passer and playmaker to derrick rose, a fact i noted a couple of seasons ago. with rose back, that passing prowess is squandered, and noah is too good at it for it to be squandered, that is 100% certain.
and speaking of rose, there is no guarantee that he will have developed a game based on diminished athleticism. so, again, if you are noah or gibson are you really willing to put your faith in your team excelling with rose in the fold? frankly, a trio of gibson, noah and anthony actually seems like a better core to me than those three together with rose. not enough basketballs. rose and melo are going to be subtraction by addition.
i think the bulls front office might be seeing the matter thusly too. rose won't woo melo, and rose was not invited to woo melo either.

Actually thibs said every bulls player will be available to recruit, and noah had a talk with rose.. so all players were invited per say, but as we know, rose wanted no parts of that.
I do agree that unless rose changes his game a bit there aren't enough balls to go around with he and meloser..
what I was hoping was that LA jumping in the picture would force the bulls to actually give up more in a sign and trade. I would love to get hold of McDermot and Gibson, heck I would even take boozer.. reluctantly, but they key would be Mcdermot, that would give us a young piece to start building something with, along with our pick next year..
I am hoping the bulls come through...
