This whole process sucks and stink. Do away with the cap and get rid of about 8 teams because we are catering to them and it's killing the game. We live in a Capitalistic country. But we run the NBA like a Communist country. What do you think. You mean every year we will have to go through this bull Sh!t. If Melo walk with out us getting anything. Then d7th and TKF win and all others who cares less about getting anything. I hope that I am wrong.
I had no idea you wanted to get rid of the salary cap

Many of the old title teams were put together by GM's making deals and signing FA stars. I don't think this is a problem. It's just how things work. Teams have control of players thru their rookie contracts and then the players gain control of their career after. I don't like the salary cap as it really only benefits the owners pockets but it's not the end of the world. If a team does things the right way they can draft and keep their young players and build great teams. It just takes patience and planning and hard work.

You condemn the NBA for being Communist, and then you want to restrict the movement of labor, or get compensation from the central governing body because you fail to compete as an organization? It doesnt add up.

You know that the NBA is an international league, not an American one, right? It's only one Canadian team now but I'm sure the NBA execs have wet dreams about expanding more.
