Sign him at half time, before the asking price goes up.

I was half kidding...
This summer league team is 10 times better than last years

Tyler looked a step slow and lost at times. Cole was a beast on the boars. His hands still suck, but he moves well without the ball and he's a solid enough passer. Larkin is a weapon on offense, but the verdict is still out on his defense. I'd like to see him tested by someone a little bit more dynamic than Gabe Mekel.
Tyler has to be better or he is going to lose his roster spot. he has talent something is just missing

Larkin is more of a quick pest kind of defender. He'll get a lot of steals but obviously he's not a stopper. He can stay in front of guys but since he's not big he's not going to really intimidate shooters. I'm not so worried about his defense in that I think he'll hold his own. He's not gonna get beat like Felton.
We could of used a guy like him last year just as a change of pace, we were so damn slow

because we finally have a good amount of young talent. this is why draft picks are important. Phil is the first gm to realize this

With a big with his talent level, I really would give him 2 more years and see what happens. They often just take time. Speaking of, look at Cole, there is a reason he went 11 in the draft.
Unless something obviously better comes along. I mean look at our roster, we are guard heavy is all.
Nice that we have the Frenchy overseas though.
Pretty good SL team for us. This is basically a Pre training camp Triangle primer for our young players. SL will provide some other prospect as usually someone stands out and doesn't latch on with a team.
Tim Jr getting the young guys use to playing with Melo- ha!

Larkin looks exactly as advertised- a good backup change-of-pace PG who can be a pest of defense and a good shooter. I liked what I saw from him- he's not perfect and he still has a lot he can develop, but he's a nice player to have.

His conditioning seems awful this summer league- he looks like he's dying!
The pick we absolutely whiffed on was not taking Cory Jefferson 57--it wouldve given us that extra PF and I think he will be a long term nice player who will be the steal of the draft. As for our guys--we did quite well--I dont see all star players but solid team producing performers who can help us win--great trade w Dallas and solid draft execution at 34 and 51 just wish we finished it off at 57.
Larkin was the most interesting player to watch for me. He looks like a real NBA PG with handle and speed. His shot doesn't look bad either. Kind of reminded me of Mike Bibby.

You can't make conclusions like that off of one summer league game. We haven't seen Laberyie.

Have we received any indication Laberyie is coming over in the next few years?

Mark my words--Cory Jefferson will be an NBA stud PF and absolute steal that we missed on. I thought he had lottery type talent last year. He will end up being better than more than 1/2 of th first round picks and he went 59.

Eh, Jefferson looked solid, but I'm not losing any sleep over it. The guy I wish we were able to get is Nick Johnson. His defense would have made him a nice complement to Calderon. Dallas with another steal. Draftbscouting is the one thing Morey and Isaiah have in common as GMs.
