imagine when teh rest of his game develops. His defense is nba ready and he is showing some offense today
Agreed. Defense is top shelf, he's fast and athletic and he's got touch..just needs more seasoning

He needs 2 seasons in Europe to polish his skills. But the talent is there for him to be a rotational player.
Seems to be good chemistry and togetherness with this whole group. Nice to see

Completely agree

We have good young talent for the first time in a while.

Agreed
I wish we had enough roster space to sign Ivan Johnson.
Clyde with a good point. I don't think Early has taken it to the hoop all game.
Cole's not an offensive player -- his rebounding and shot-blocking is where his value is...Hahn with a good bit on Cole -- mentioning his underrated passing (true, that was a nice hand off to Larkin in the lane) and also mentioned that he impressed Phil at the end of last yr and that Phil wants him back...we need this guy back -- I'd sleep easier at night knowing cole's back there rebounding and protecting the basket
Hahn saying Phil is a fan of Cole. Wonder if Cole's camp wants to put off on signing until other teams can watch and drive up the market value.
Whatever happens with Carmelo, I'm ridiculously excited for this season.
I don't think I have ever been more happy for a trade than the Dallas trade. For context I have been a Knicks fan from the Starbury era to now.

Definitely, especially with the roster as is. We have Dalembert at C and absolutely no one else (unless you want to count on Bargs at the 5). The deal should already be done.

Dallas took big risk becaus etheyw ere trying to get melo and/or other big FA and it looks like they struck out. Its nice to be on the other side of a trade for once

Agreed (I've only been watching since 02...basically right after playoffs were a thing of the past). Amazing value. Sorry Dallas.
I tell ya what, any team looking for some inside toughness, some size/length, some rebounding/shot-blocking on a limited budget, this Bernard James is a hell of an option

Yup, tyson thought he would be able to recruit Melo because they were real "close". Too bad he had no idea melo loved the trade.
