Knicks · If I were Melo (page 1)

I would definitely go to Houston.
How many millions do you need in one lifetime? Houston is miles ahead of the knicks and Howard and harden actually might compliment Melo. Sorry to say it, but I'd go for it.
nixluva @ 7/11/2014 8:04 PM
I don't think Houston is a great fit. I think Chicago or NY is the best place for him. He'd have defensive help in Chicago and a PG with role players who don't need the ball to be effective. NY only needs one season to be in position to add more help. We've got developing youth as well.

We have THjr and a bunch of second rounders. Not that exciting.

If i'm melo right now doe,

i'm taking the money and running

if he stays here he knows he's going to have to change his game and improve,

his decision is not where to play but if he is up to the challenge at this point in his career,

this is a defining moment in his career--- he can go away and drop buckets

or he can stay, adapt and win championships in new york.

Knicksfan @ 7/11/2014 8:49 PM
There were reports on Wednesday that put the Rockets as back in the hunt for Melo.

Now we have the Lin trade and analysts saying that they wouldn't make that deal if they didn't have a guarantee from a top free agent. Either Bosh really burned them and they are desperately trying to bring Melo again or they were going after Melo from the start.

It would be a bitch if he took his "talents" on the road and still didn't get a ring. Even without a ring, several players are still revered in New York.(Bernard, LJ, Starks, Ewing). If he leaves, He'll just be a footnote.

He is a footnote and he knows that he cannot change... we all know.

Difference is that melo hanst had any playoff success. I mean he has basically been a first round exit every year except once or twice

This NBA offseason is all about legacy and doing it in your hometown. There's no way Melo leaves now.

So far only LeBron returned "home". Bosh didn't go to Texas. Who else returned to their hometown?

Lebron is enough--- he has defined the season

Not really. A fan of his decision, though.

The Bulls make the most sense, now. With the Heat weakened and the Cavs seemingly a one more player/or one more year away from seriously representing the east in the finals, the Bulls have a squad, with Melo, that has a legit shot at getting to the finals next year.

LMAO!!!Between Melo and Harden fighting each other to score, they would end up making 5 points per games. Melo iso so far from Harden that he'll be shooting three's from the locker room.

I agree. Also, reports are te dynamic between Hardenand Dwight isn't great and they have McHale as coach.

Are developing youth is very overstated almost every team in the NBA has a better young prospect than the Knicks

Nah

Washington DC and the Wizards would be the perfect Melo homecoming

The DMV would go crazy

The Wizards have big talent in the frontcourt with Nene and Gortat... And small all star talent with Bradley Beal and John Wall.

Melo would set it off all the way to the ECF.

Bulledat
