All the top stars eventually added some sort of post game. KD needs one - its obvious.

That's part of the post game evolution. I think its just apart of him getting stronger in the lower body. However he has started incorporating the dirk one leg fade.

i honestly don't foresee him getting any stronger in his lower body. some guys just can't bulk up like that. but there is no reason he can't improve his footwork in a quasi-midrange game. i say quasi- because he will be pushed off the block and post by shorter and stronger players.
i also think the modern game still underutilizes the backboard, which is an indispensable tool for the midrange shot. you can get off a lot more shots with accuracy if the backboard is a legit option, especially as it is more forgiving.
