Aside from Kurt Rambis and the young dude from OKC that we pouched, who are our other assistant coaches? Is it standard protocol to wait this long to fill out the other positions?
we have 3 I believe....how many do we need really? back in the days they had none.
As long as they don't bring back herb!

I'm pretty sure the standard is 5, give or take. Coaching has become a science and you need bodies to help deal with the vast number of details involved in the game. This isn't a mom and pop league; it's a multi-billion dollar industry where results matter.

I never understood the hate for Herb. He hardly did or said anything the past two decades he's been here.
I'm surprised Jim Cleamons & Luke Walton are not on the staff yet at least

Didn't Luke get a job with the Warriors?

thats the damn point..lol..
Herb Was Dolans snitch is not surprising Phil refused to bring him back. Phil knows more about the Knicks than people think. From everything we have seen from Phil he clearly did his homework months or years before taking the job

Knicks had 40 coaches on the bench last season...wtf were they doing?

The Spurs had 6 and just added a 7th (Becky Hammon). All they did is just win a championship.

Was that ever confirmed or just rumors? Was Allan Houston a snitch too?

He might have assumed the position which might be why Dolan was ok with letting herb go
Just Phil & Derek taking their time to be sure to hire the right people. I think it could be Cartright and Fox but we shall see...
Don't think Dolan needs a snitch anymore. Phil will give it to him straight.
ya think herb will land elsewhere? or is this guy just unwanted by anyone and he'll disappear?

Maybe Dolan will hire Herb as his chauffeur

Charlotte with Clifford and Ewing?

I think Oakley is on their staff, so it's a distinct possibility.
We have 4 assistants already. Rambis, Rasheed Hazzard (formerly Lakers), Joshua Longstaff (formerly Thunder) and Brian Keefe (formerly Thunder). I think we are done hiring assistants.
