Still so many issues with Larkin, he still picks up dribble early for instance, but he is calming down a bit. There is a reason they're giving him time and I'm pretty sure the commitment to Larkin will continue if he keeps improving by small degrees.

They simply are a much better fit in the Triangle. We needed bugs that could do more than catch lobs. Phil knew what kind of players he was looking for.
JR will always be a mental midget

Yea I'm willing to be patient with Larkin. We have Prigioni incase he doesn't pan out

Tyson was a classic case of a man coasting on his reputation. I think even most Knicks fans agreed it was hard to believe he was given DPOY too. That shocked me. He was good that year, but not DPOY good.
The main thing now is durability. Sam seems good to go, so if Jason can play 20-25 minutes and stay healthy, I think we're way improved.
It didn't count but how quick was that blow-by by STAT on Noel? WOW
Smith was a real nice pickup. Dude can play. His jumper is absolute water for a seven footer.
I think Larkin maybe quicker than Nate..
Finish the game strong now!! Close these fools out

Real quick to a loose ball and a rebound tonight. It's coming...

Quicker, but Nate can wrestle a giant squid.
We've been preaching patience and I think with this full week of practice Fish can really get some quality instruction done. I'm pleased with the progress so far. Guys are starting to get it.
Jason Smith may be a starter.
Melo
Shump
Jose
Sam
Jason
I still think Acy may have a shot.

It almost doesn't matter but I think Fish has good options. He can go with Acy, Bargs or Jason Smith.

It may not matter overall. What I think starting J.Smith provides is a tall interior while retaining a starting unit with shooters and offensive potential. The reason that may not happen is J.Smith may be the ideal replacement for Sam even if they twin tower sometimes.
Bargs, as stated in another post, is an early producer. He has not been a particularly good closer. Only real reason I see to start him without giving him full starter minutes. I see him as a mid-game sub unless he just falls out of the rotation.
That leaves Acy who fits as a PF next to Melo. Acy showed some capacity for moving the ball, so if he can be fluid within the triangle, then he can start even if he only logs 15-20 minutes per game.
I do not think Stat will start.
Great game. Great to meet Martin. Can't believe that picture.

We had a great time. We could see the court really well despite being up in the 300s. A lot of big Melo/Cuse fans around us that were fun.
