Wish him nothing but the best

Good for him. I thought with all of the guys that the Jazz recently signed that they wouldn't pick him up. 250k guaranteed.

Good for him, however, I think Darrius Morris is comparable and possiblity even better than Murry, who has some experience running the Triangle with Laker's with Kobe/Gasol

Tony Wroten is the player I think would be a steal and has STAR potential in him, either as a STARTING PG or a 6th man type PG/SG that could play both positions
His combination of speed/quickness/handle/ability to penetrate/finish is with the TIER 1's of the league in John Wall/Harden/Young Ginobili
Most importantly, he would be locked in for another 2 years at the rookie scale salary so we can use the cap space to continue to build a contending team

Morris 1st year in 2011-12 he only played 19 games at 9 mpg under Mike Brown. Next season he started off learning the Princeton Offense under Brown for only 5 games and then a short stint with Bernie Bickerstaff before they switched to MDA who of course uses SSOL. He then played for PHI, LAC and MEM. I doubt very much that he had a lot of experience in the Triangle.

He's not a bad prospect IMO but I don't see much upside. Nothing spectacular but he might do well in the Triangle. Only thing is that he's not a good defender and not that amazing offensively either. Murry at least has defensive talent which could be very useful.

If Toure can get a 2mm contract, and he's still unproven. I'm sure our 51st pick was thinking the same thing, and he's actually a better defender right now....

I think Toure's deal is 1 mil for two years.

Bad teams make moves for no reason. Utah is one of the best at that. They Draft trey burke, then dante exem in back to back drafts. ...They also have other decent perimeter players. Why sign Murry?

They have a shit load of good big man prospects too. They need someone to take over that knows what they are doing. They are wasting time in their rebuild.
