Not sure of exact numbers but at 28 mins per, this guy will have a HUGE impact defensively & on the boards. You can take that to the bank. I've seen enough to call that FACT. Plus he'll clean up any garbage around the rim. Glad we brought him back but still can't wrap my head around the fact that we only inked him for the 1 additional year. How the hell do you not give this guy a 2 or 3 year deal or at least 1 + a team option??

That's gonna come back to bite us -- instead of taking a chance on a team friendly amount for multiple years, when he produces now we're looking at chewing up even more cap. Hey whatever -- if he produces what some of you are saying (he's capable man), I'll wanna see him get paid.
9 points, 11 rbs, 2 blocks at 36 mpg - close to but slightly below his career per 36. That would be my guess. If it's 32 min, maybe 8 and 10. His whole NBA sample of playing time is small though.
He'll probably max out around 26 mins and be at about 6 pts, 8 rebs, 1.5 blk
So based on some of these projections what do you guys think we might be looking at as far as bringing Cole back next summer? Throw out some numbers. Say they don't suppress him, they play him close to 30 a night and he goes close to 10/10 and 2. What's that worth to start off a new contract? $5mm -- over or under? Just trying to get a feel for how much cap he might chewy up next off-season.

Were you not claiming facts about Jeremy Tyler?
aldrich always looked better out there than tyler. shocking how so many thought the opposite.
Much better and more consistent numbers than Mozgov. He is our new Center project.
David Lee lite? David Lee wouldn't get a block playing pickup against most of you dweebs.

No. I was one of the first/only ones on here who was ready to scrap the whole Tyler experiment last year after seeing him in action a few times.. Originally I got excited when we first got him, using his DL highlight vid as a reference. There's no denying he shows excellent potential in that video. I really thought we had something with him after watching that clip. It brought back memories of Vin Baker in his prime for me. Then reality set in... Fact of the matter is that Jeremy Tyler is not a big-time prospect, not a guy that will produce anywhere near what Cole Aldrich can do on the pro level given the same amount of PT. FACT. That became clear as day. Apples and oranges..

Exactly. Completely agree. And I said as much last year as the season unfolded and we saw more and more of each player. I even thought we should've invested more time in Earl Clark over Tyler after a while.
