Honestly, that was the lock out yr, but we were a stack team that got off to a very slow start, we added Camby and spreewell and we had no real training camp, and we had no practice time because we were playing in a condence schedule that saw us playing back to back to back games...IMO it wasn't so suprising we made the finals giving there was less then 10 games that seperated 1 to 8th seed.
I think the odds are good, and you know I'll be rooting for them. Go get Patrick his ring!

Odds really aren't that all that bad.
Travelling backwards through time is invented, JVG is mind melded to keep Chris Dudley tied to the bench, Spree hits that last j over the twin towers, and we go on to win Games 6 and 7 by 30 points each.

why is it Knicks have more problems with back to back than others?
It was a great run, but like most things it was about matchups!
Incidentally, if I could travel back in time, I would go back to May 18th and move Jeff Van Gundy's Honda Civic for him.
If I did that would I screw up the future? For instance, the "forums" display on ultimateknicks.com wouldn't say Let's talk Pure Knicks Love: players, games, trades, Jeff Van Gundy's civic. Anything Knicks related.
I wonder what it would say or if there would even be an ultimateknicks.com?
I bought a ticket in Vegas for the Knicks to win the championship in March of 1999 at 20 to 1 odds.
I still pissed I didn't put 300 on The Spurs once they got there.

That season was on 50 plus games & didn't even start to January I think. I got my ticket during the 2nd week or so of the NCAA tornament that year.
