If the only news the Knicks have is that Jim Dolan set a kuzoo record--well
Maybe boring is a good thing. No drama is a welcome change.
Less headlines when you have stability and a plan, a President thats focus, and very few movable pieces. It just dawn on me, training camp starts next wk.
Tyson and Phil are bumping heads
Melo's a Digital Athlete
Calderon is Elite
Knicks are winning 50gms
The offseason has been lively somewhat
I enjoyed the draft, summer league and free agency (Lebron, the Heat, the Rockets plan blowing up in their face, etc etc), the Love trade, etc, etc. it been pretty eventful. I'm ready for training camp though! Just one week to go!
Very boring. It sucks being locked into a terrible roster because the owner was so careless. It's sucked for the past 15yrs. I really feel for the Knicks fanbase. I wonder what it feels like to be excited about a team going into camp. I don't even remember what it feels like to compete for a championship. It's been so long

we have a terrible roster?
Yea all the "big names" minus Melo will be gone next year. Then It's going to take a few years to develop chemistry. Hopefully this time will Pbil & Derek here they actually play like a team

I don't think the chemistry will take much time because phil is not just stocking talent, he's looking for guys that can fit right into a system, and a balance roster. Guys that actually complement each other as oppose to players who almost mirror each others skill set.
yeah - we need another bargs like trade to shake things up
Has Shump put out a summer mixtape yet?
I think that Stat grew hasidic dread locks on an israeli kibutz

What an awful trade. Only made because the Nets stole the headlines when they acquired Pierce and KG
almost feels like that trade was intentional sabotage. No sane person makes that trade with a straight face.
My take on this off season is Relaxed! Phil has been doing his thing and mostly solid tho unspectacular moves to improve the team. I've felt relaxed because Phil has been making smart decisions and the players and coach are excited about the season. In this case boring was good.

Yes he did and he liked like mitch Richmond in his prime

Pretty much. There actually have been a lot of moves made they were just sensible.
Melo stays with the Knicks. Boring off season?

Give JR some time. He'll come up with something.

Which has led to just tons of activity about the death march of the next few seasons...revisiting old wounds, relentlessly pointless rebuild plans that weren't to be...the players we gave away...
Serenity Now!
Well, at least the Giants are starting to play actual football. In a few weeks, we'll see if we can double up on watchable NY sports. I'm getting actually excited for hoops to "kick off".
