That would be RonRon

Count me in as well. I was going to make a post about how we should look into signing him and Rudy Fernandez next offseason.
RonRon@ 9/22/2014 9:15 PM
Great, at the very least, we know he is still in good shape and could give 6 hard kicks fouls
Seriously though, Forget the namne Forget when he was picked He has the skills and mileage to be a very good rotational player in this system, he is versatile/skilled and is a legit mobile/decent athletic 7 footer, that can post up, hit a 17 footer, and pass/facilitate Legit 7 footer that could rebound/block shots/protect the paint, and defend the paint, and NOW CAN KICK MMA training is hardcore and would show he is in supreme shape, if I was Phil Jackson I would call himself personally to tell him to train now and give him a 2 year vet min deal with partial guarantee Paul Pierce raved about him as a Celtic and when he was the starting Center next to Kevin Love, he played 2 good seasons when he actually got the minutes
With Calderon and CA making 30m we need to find multiple cheap options to compensate for their contracts, especially if we are looking to sign/trade for an ALL STAR
Add in Tony Wroten somehow With Jeff Green at SG and another SF/PF that compliments CA like a Young Marion, maybe Matt Barnes *team options* /Dante Cunningham/ and Jamalle Haggins *Haggin's is comparable to Kmart, who we could resign with his early bird rights that are not guaranteed and be used to add up salaries/fillers*
Development coaches, Maybe have Kmart and/or Rasheed Wallace as our development coaches as well as Chauncey Billups*

In that case, we should probably look into Stromile Swift and Darius Miles as well.

He's never been a very good rotational player; he's never even been a mediocre rotational player. His only versatility is that he's bad at everything. He can't post-up; in the 4 seasons he played 1000+ minutes he shot 50%, 48%, 54%, and 51%. That's terrible for anyone in the post let alone a 7-footer. He can't hit 17-footers; for his career he's shot 27% between 10 and 16 feet and 32% from 16 feet to the 3PT arc. He can't pass; for his career he's averaged 0.9 assists/game, 1.7 assists/36 minutes, and 2.4 assists/100 possessions. Those two good years in Minny: 9ppg, 5rpg, 1.5apg, 2.2topg, 2bpg, 46FG%, in 24mpg and 4.6ppg, 3rpg, 0.6apg, 1.1topg, 1bpg, 45FG% in 16mpg. His advanced stats for those 2 years? 0.007 and 0.003 WS/48; -1.5 and -0.4 OWS; 1.7 and 0.4 DWS; 91 and 88 ORTG; and 107 and 105 DRTG.
Those are miserable, miserable numbers and he only played 5 total minutes two seasons ago and not at all last year. I doubt that he's improved at basketball in the mean time.

Dear RonRon,
How many other MMA Fighters do you know that are NBA-ready? Do you have some idea as to what other fringe sports we could possibly recruit from? I've heard that Tahitian Rugby players are really tough, would it be possible for you to give me some tips on what we would look for in a possible addition to our PF position? Perhaps you have some more valuable insights into some Mudrunners or maybe you know of some secret Ninja societies you could possibly hook me up with? What about reality tv shows? Some of those dudes on Utopia look fast and quick!
I'll be waiting fervently for your reply.
Your friend, Phil Jackson
PS - don't let all those metrics and almost two years of NBA inactivity fool you, I also believe Darko had the proper karma to earn a valued spot in the NBA. He reminds me of ...well...me!
Nalod@ 9/23/2014 2:37 PM
RainRain went Wroten and Darko in one post!!!!
IronWillGiroud@ 9/23/2014 7:13 PM
this guy could've been a contender
he just chose not to show up 95% of the time,
but when he was into it, man was a beast.
6/4/1 block career in nba is still nothing to shake a finger at, just maybe not a 1st overall finger

And retiring with $50+ mil in career earnings is pretty awesome!

Good for him. I hope he kicks someones ass.
Starting with Charles Barkley.
jrodmc@ 9/24/2014 12:00 PM
Even if it involved a severe beating, what would make you even think about wanting to see Charles Barkley without a shirt on?

He could just beat his ass walking out the TNT studios or fight with a wife beater on, just as long as he gets his ass beat!
