long season but anything can happen. but we have gotten off to a good start 7-1 is nuts despite the quality of opponents. big test thursday on TNT (finally made it) vs. the bulls.
We are *clearly* behind the Raptors(by a mile) and the Nets (3/4) and if I may add the C's have a more defined team with better chemistry and coach. We will likely fight for position 3 in the east.
The division is already over barring massive injury. The Raptors are just plain good a lot of chemistry 2 NBA all stars in their starting 5 great role players legit 6th man of the year--its not even close.

Ahhh the ole typical borrowing of time on the schedule
The Pacers almost did come out of the East
Yeah a lot can happen like the Bucks becoming a Top 4 team

( Though Boston looks tougher than most people probably thought and might not be able to give away wins too easily)
Knicks will likely make up some wins on the back end, but it will be ugly before then. I still think they are a 30-35 win team but a lot of those wins will be other teams giving up/doing poorly, and not the Knicks ripping them apart.
Teams with strong front courts are going to hurt the Knicks badly this season though.
And back courts, we haven't even got into
The thick of strong back courts yet

Wow. Remember the year every ESPN analyst picked Boston to win the Division when the Knicks actually did?
Yeah Remember how accurate ESPN has been overall
The past 6-7yrs concerning our team, okay they got 1 yr wrong
It happens, this won't be this yr they're wildly off
The picked the Raptors to win it along with Brooklyn receiving token love

And pirate ships with surly deckhands
And mobile grooming units with rabid poodles
And VW Buses full of drunk rodeo clowns
.... it is going to be brutal

I am not looking forward to seeing these back courts
First time or again
GSW, Phx, Washington(healthy Beal), Portland,
Grizzlies, Bulls(healthy Butler and Rose), Raptors, Nets,
Clippers, Bobcats, Bucks, Celtics

That wasn't ESPN's statistical analysis (the Schoene system). It was just a bunch of writers. They're still probably off by less than Knicks' fans here though.

Schoene got lucky- look at how some of it's other predictions panned out. Someone or something that can get some predictions right but also a lot wrong is pretty useless- any fool can do that, it doesn't make them Nostradamus

I wouldn't say the Schoene analytic system
Has helped them moreso in recent yrs vs past yrs not using it
When it comes to our team ESPN has been fairly consist though
How about we look at their predictions from recent yrs....
2014-2015 Eastern Conference Predition - Undetermined

predicting the Knicks season is very easy. Pick a ton of loses and very little wins and you will be right

Then pretend a computer told you and you make a lot of money from the media

Schoene was almost always within 6 wins. Compare that to here where people are regularly off by 20.

We have too many negatives working against us
and so many positives as well, so you sit there and dwell on the negatives..
J.R. Smith, Amar'e, Bargnani2 guard inconsistency, no center depth
Triangle system learning curve
Tough schedule out the gate
Yikes did a quick check in the Eastern Conference Standings
Didn't realize we are 18gms back of Toronto
Now I was right to this point Brooklyn has the 8th seed Boston the 9th
Where I completely whiffed were the teams we'd be battling
It was Philly and Detroit for the Bottoms Out
Cellar Dwelling So Hard
Is Toronto really 18gms better than us

I never would have imagine 30 different starting line ups. This guy fisher changes his starters at the half, where the hell have you ever seen that before, much less anybody that had any success doing it. Some of you think this is a TANK job, but it's far from it, and thats the scary part
This is the exact same thing that happen to Rambis in minny, i could only imagine the ineptness come draft time.
I just want to see when the garden is going to start yelling for fishers HEAD, then what the hell will phil do.
