It's not magic..Means he shoots more ft..don't even have to look it up..also..u can take 36 shots to score 36 points and still shoot 50%..
yeah ... thats exactly the point. FT's, 3's, who cares how.
50% is irrelevant.
The dude shot 23 free throws tonight! Again, who cares how he scores his points? The point is that he does it without jacking up equal shots to points.
Jason Smith can shoot the same stupid FG that Harden does yet for some reason Harden is an MVP candidate.
Do you really think that 36 points on 36 shots is good? Of course you don't, even if that gets you to your magic 50%.
40 points on ONLY 23 shots tonight!
12 rebounds
9 assists
yeah ... melo and him are about equal
lol I wonder if people would still take Melo over Harden.
Melo diehards can't stant Harden, Griffin & Love because they know they are better. Production & valuewise
very few left can deny how harden has skied miles ahead of Melo ...
then again, people still defend Jimmy DooLittle.
Mozgov, shump & JR tearing it up
gunsnewing wrote:Mozgov, shump & JR tearing it up
We essentially made the Cavs a championship contender through the front door(Smith and Shumpert) and the backdoor(Mosgov)
oh yeah Jason Kidd coach of the year and its not close.

Can't say im surprised
At least we got a 2019 2nd round pick from OKC in the ordeal
Now I hated JR but Mozgov & Shump were big time favorites of mine. So this one really fuckin hurts

Er, what about the Hawks coach?
gunsnewing wrote:At least we got a 2019 2nd round pick from OKC in the ordeal
They had no trade value by the time we moved them. It's not just Knick fans that perpetually bash Knick players- the national media do too (remember how they made out Gallo, Mosgov, Wilson Chandler were bums), and then once they're on another team they get praised again (see Tyson Chandler). Unfortunately this makes trading more difficult for us.

We wouldn't have re-signed Shump this offseason, and contrary to this thread he has not been tearing it up- he's had one good game.
Remember, they are "tearing it up" as role players. Here they were major players. In cleveland, Shump with Love, Lebron and Irving are the guys.
Lets not get all stupid thinking "We gave them away" for nothing or "Phil was napping".
Cavs are stacked. It matters.
Lebron>melo
Irving>Langston
Love>Jason Smith
Mike Miller>Ballboy
Marion>Acy
Delladova>Priggs
Thompson>Stat
MOzgov>Cole
Lebron the best player on the planet. It matters.
shumpert playing horrible

water is wet.
Seriously, he has been playing well as a bench player for cleveland but I kind of expected he and JR game to raise once they got away from NY.

Lebron looks terrible too ... this guy is just not the same
do they actually miss love?
lebron just taking terrible shots

It's a give away game before the trip to NY. Shump is ready to go back to the studio and Lebron is just going through the motions.
Rose destroyed shumpert, brotha almost broke his ankles on one play
That was a bad Cleveland game . . . and when they win it isn't pretty but, hey, Cleveland is winning games.

Let's see how he does in the playoffs. Lebron is there so JR might deliver for a change. Shump is making the ESPN highlight reels tonight, not the first time since the trade. He's also benefiting from LeBron's leadership IMO.
The important thing for Cleveland is that JR is their 4th option not their second..JR can now spot up for a shot..He doesn't have to bring the ball up and create..Huge, huge difference..I don't think LeBron is a leader either..Another topic tho..
I don't believe JR's playoff performances as a Knick can be blamed on his role on the team. He's had different roles on this team in the playoffs and he's failed pretty much every time. From Cleveland's standpoint it is a big difference, you're right. I didnt believe that Lebron was a leader his first time in Cleveland, but I do believed that changed by the time he left Miami.
Catch and shoot JR is actually excellent. Maybe that is who they got and he could help them (now that he is focused and clean)
JR Smith will be better in Cleveland because he won't be depended on as much like he was for us. We wanted him to and he felt like he had to be our 2nd scorer after Melo and he couldn't handle that pressure and in Cleveland he's like their 4th or 5th scorer so he has no pressure.
mreinman wrote:@Holfreshthat is blatantly ridiculous. Harden shoots and an uber elite TS of 61 while Melo is at an ok 54.6. Its not close.
Who cares if he flops ... Lebron flopped and won and Jordan flopped too ... who cares, whatever works. Ginobli?
He also may be good and drawing contact. Possible?
Melo does not shoot the better 3 ball.
He's actually right on that Harden flops. I've never seen a player that flops more than Harden does.

Why aren't you on the Houston Rockets message board since you're clearly a Harden fan and a Melo hater??

who cares ... so does Ginobli and Lebron. He is getting the calls so he is doing something right.
