He's actually right on that Harden flops. I've never seen a player that flops more than Harden does.

who cares ... so does Ginobli and Lebron. He is getting the calls so he is doing something right.

mreinman wrote:Harden so far tonight;

35 points on 18 shots! Thats all you need to look at. How many shots does Melo need to get 35 points? Like 35?

It's not magic..Means he shoots more ft..don't even have to look it up..also..u can take 36 shots to score 36 points and still shoot 50%..

yeah ... thats exactly the point. FT's, 3's, who cares how.

50% is irrelevant.

The dude shot 23 free throws tonight! Again, who cares how he scores his points? The point is that he does it without jacking up equal shots to points.

Jason Smith can shoot the same stupid FG that Harden does yet for some reason Harden is an MVP candidate.

Do you really think that 36 points on 36 shots is good? Of course you don't, even if that gets you to your magic 50%.

40 points on ONLY 23 shots tonight!

12 rebounds

9 assists

yeah ... melo and him are about equal

lol I wonder if people would still take Melo over Harden.

Melo diehards can't stant Harden, Griffin & Love because they know they are better. Production & valuewise

very few left can deny how harden has skied miles ahead of Melo ...

then again, people still defend Jimmy DooLittle.

Why aren't you on the Houston Rockets message board since you're clearly a Harden fan and a Melo hater??

I am not a Harden fan or a Melo hater.

I am disappointed in Melo for the way he plays the game. I held out hope that Phil would be able to change him but so far, it does not look like this will happen.

Harden is a very good player that I am impressed with, he plays efficient basketball and I respect his game. Curious to see how he does in the post season this year, last year was not too good.

From Howard Beck of Bleacher Report:

Suns were active on the phones this weekend. The sense is they are ready to deal Dragic, rather than risk losing him to free agency.

Re Dragic: It’s not that Suns don’t want to re-sign him. They do. But they’re worried he’ll leave in July anyway. Thus, exploring deals.

From Marc Spears of Yahoo Sports:

The Suns are inclined to keep Goran Dragic, a source said. Suns owner Robert Sarver attended agent Bill Duffy’s annual All-Star event Sunday. Duffy is Dragic’s agent.

From Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports:

Sources: Goran Dragic’s agent plans to meet w/ team officials Tuesday, but Phoenix’s determination unchanged: Suns want to re-sign Dragic.

Ha- why the heck would the Nets agree to that? Jennings is likely done- his game is not one that will survive a loss of athleticism.

it would save the nets $16 mil next year so if they are looking to sell, shedding payroll would be an attractive option.

KG to the Wolves for Thaddeus possibly in the works.
February 18 at 10:52pm CST By Eddie Scarito

The Timberwolves and Nets are in talks regarding a trade that would return Kevin Garnett to Minnesota in return for Thaddeus Young, Marc Stein of ESPN.com reports (Twitter links). The 19-year NBA veteran has a no-trade clause in his contract, which means that Garnett could potentially veto any deal presented to him. Garnett spent his first 12 seasons in the NBA with Minnesota, and it would be a great ending to his storied career if he retired while wearing a Timberwolves jersey. The big man has also said that he hopes to buy the Wolves when his playing days are over.

The 38-year-old is earning $12MM for the season, and will become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the campaign. The veteran has appeared in 42 games for Brooklyn this season, and is averaging 6.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 20.3 minutes per night. Garnett’s career averages are 18.3 PPG, 10.2 RPG, and 3.8 APG. His career shooting percentages are .497/.276/.790.

Young, 26, is making $9,410,869 this season, and he has a player option worth $9,971,739 for the 2015/16 campaign. The 6’8″ forward has appeared in 48 games for Minnesota this season, and is averaging 14.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in 33.4 minutes per game. His career numbers are 13.8 PPG, 5.5 RPG, and 1.5 APG. Young’s slash line is .495/.319/.698.

Don't get why the heck the Nuggets are trading Lawson- he was a key part to that teams success a few years ago. Anyways, the Lakers should target him rather than Dragic.

Specifics, Denver send OKC's 1st (can't remember when or how they acquired that!) to Sixers with McGee. That makes little sense for Denver- they need to stockpile picks.

Wow....

Holfresh is old school and don't always get the new wave of the NBA..Ibaka could have helped his team if he developed in interior game..Instead he decided to be a jump shooter..They are still in search of an interior presence to get over the hump..Why is it applauded since it helps his individual stats and but not his team's prospect to win a championship??

Who says it hurts their team. They just added a young low post scorer who will have room to operate on offense. Plus, ibaka maybe able to cover for his defensive issues.

Are you saying that the Thunder would not be better served if Ibaka had or worked on his low post presence than his current gravitation to be the perimeter??

Who cares about TS%...Not one player that is in the top 10 TS% is considered a top 10 player in this league..LeBron James, the best player on this planet, is not in the top 40 in TS%..How can u take this seriously???

Anyone with any brains and/or objectivity. Using arguments that it should not count because he is a flopper is beyond silly.

Durant, Curry, Harden .... top 10

TS is one stat and does not make you a top 10. Every top player in the league does not average 10 rebounds or 10 assists.

TS is a measure for efficient scoring as is to be used as a variable within a group of other valuable measurements.

Durant is 11th, Curry is 17th and Harden is 22nd and LeBron is 44th in TS%..My point about Harden is that he won't get those flopping calls in the playoffs which he has been getting...I can't understand why it's not better to look at the individual stats to better assess where the production like the free throw line..He wont get those calls in the playoffs against better defenders..And he hasn't been getting those calls..But what do I know, having half a brain..
