He is playing for a new contract.
Once he has it, it will be back to good old reliable Flu Tyson.

It is funny hearing Barkley praise someone he always dissed when on the Knicks. He is so transparent. He will never get over the broom episode when the KNicks swept him out of the payoffs like 20 years ago... lol

He always praised him, even when he was on the knicks

No matter how good he looks, we made the right move with him. There is no upside left with his game. He will have spurts where he looks great, and others where he looks old and injured.

He costed us the moon for those sh1tty years he gave us

Chandler is what he's always been. A player that's injury prone and limited from a talent standpoint, but is really really good at what he does. He's a good rotational defender at center, very good in the pick and roll offensively and will get some rebounds. The Mavs have what the Knicks had in D'Antoni's last year and Woodson's first: a bunch of players that can shoot and space the floor for him.

He's not worth 15 million per, but that's easier to swallow with Dirk playing for change...

10 reb and 8 early PTS typical overrated numbers for tc so glad he is outta here! He is by far the most over rated center in the league

He also had a turnover and zero assist and zero blocks

I don't see it...they lost and he got a technical foul.

also, I think he has a slight back issue they announced.

Tyson Chandler played fantastic in a loss against the Spurs on Tuesday, scoring eight points on 4-of-8 shooting with 10 rebounds and two steals in 27 minutes.
He did suffer a lower back injury and briefly left the game, but did return and appeared fine. Chandler was very active tonight and was a huge factor for Dallas on the boards. He struggled with foul trouble, which explains the low minutes, so he should be able to improve upon these numbers as the season progresses. Oct 28 - 11:08 PM

Tyson started last season off really strong then broke his leg or something, caught the flu, and tore his labia.

He does have a lot to prove because he got thrown out of NY.

I think he is still a good player, the Knicks just sucked while he was here and couldn't use him effectively. I still believe trading a big for a small is always a mistake.

They got a big back though. Dalemberr's moves the ball really well, does everything Tyson did but doesnt bring the drama. Not sure after one game but I think Sam/Amare works a lot better than Amare/Tyson.

I admit I haven't seen Dalembert much since he joined the Knicks, but haven't his past few seasons been abysmal? I don't remember hearing very good things about him and he is also getting older. I guess you could say the same of Tyson, but I always thought he was just underperforming and could turn it on. How much does Sam have left in the tank?

I'll know now to call Tyson if I ever need a recommendation for a good vaginal rejuvenation specialist

This one giving Chandler the MVP award after just five minutes may have been a bit premature.
He hurt his back already and had to go to the locker room for treatment!
Damn!

Contract year. He has a lot to prove.

I guess that means we picked the wrong time to trade him!

lol

All kidding aside, I liked Tyson and wish him well. I think he can still compete at a high level in the right situation.
