How can a bad all game 7 be on opening night of basketball. I want to watch it but I will be glued to the knicks game. Baseball just keeps shooting itself in the foot. World Series should've wrapped up by Monday.
Their ratings are really suffering

i was listening to Fisher press conference and a reporter asked him about the calderon guarding rose, and he metion shumpert will see a lot of rose, and we may experiment with Jr, shump, THJ, acy amare line up
oh no doubt Shump will be on Rose. Nice early test for Shump to show his real value to the team

I don't like shump leading any kind of fast break, 3 on 1, 2 on 1, doesn't matter, he will ruin it.
But i do want him to play some point
Just because he is guarding Rose doesn't make Shump the PG on offense. Calderon is the PG

No doubt. It's do or die this season for Shump. If he doesn't progress, stick a fork in him. I'm rooting for him to at least become a serviceable rotation player but I'm not getting my hopes up. That's dangerous as a Knicks fan. But I don't have to tell you guys that
I don't know, my hopes are always UP!

Run the offense, take smart shots, then get back on D and in position following a miss. Melo can score all he wants in a half court game, Rose needs the break to do most of his damage so feed Melo and take Rose out of the game.
I think Rose is going to be guarded by Shumpert
I expect D-Rose to be D-Rose
We have to keep guys like Taj, Mirotic, and McDermott from going off
And or course hope this guy sits out
CHICAGO -- Bulls swingman Jimmy Butler remains questionable for Wednesday night's regular-season opener against the New York Knicks because of sprained ligaments in his thumb. Butler did not practice on Tuesday, but he did continue taking jumpers with a taped-up thumb."I feel better," Butler said. "Go put some ice on it here now and see how it feels in the morning."
Butler initially injured the thumb in a preseason game against the Charlotte Hornets on Oct. 19.
"My thumb has to be able to hold up," he said. "I think that's the most important thing. I think obviously everybody knows that I want to play, but I don't want to rush back too early."
As for the ongoing contract negotiations in regard to Butler's potential extension with the Bulls, the 25-year-old says he is trying not to focus on that. The deadline for Butler to sign an extension with the Bulls is Oct. 31, and if he does not sign he will become a restricted free agent this summer.
"To tell you the truth that's really the last thing on my mind," Butler said. "I really could care less right about now. I just want to be healthy. I want to play the game that I love to play. To this point, a contract, money, absolutely has nothing to do with anything on my mind."
Chicago Bulls swingman Jimmy Butler will not play in Wednesday night's season opener against the Knicks because of sprained ligaments in his left thumb.Butler did not participate in Wednesday's shootaround, and it is unclear at this point when he will return.
Oh yeah ! I am going to stay up until 3 am to watch this on firstrow in really poor quality , damn time difference !
bTW , where are the cheerleading pics ? Has it been such a long offseason? Time to save the day, GO KNICKS !
retarded. Fisher's first move is a dumb one.

Will see. It seemed like it would be any 4 but Amare. I saw something else where Amare was referred to as a captain but later read that Fisher hasn't named captains.

I wouldn't go that far. I like Dalembert covering for STAT instead of Acy at the 4 and STAT at the 5.
We don't know how things looked in practice. It's a gut and eye test and maybe Fish felt STAT made sense. In a way I can follow the logic in that you can protect STAT in the SL better than off the bench. The Knicks played well with STAT starting at the end of last season.
Enough with the predictions and blind opinions....the real games start tonite!!!
No Calderon ughhh
Larkin instead
