If we can remain competitive throughout the entire game I'm willing to overlook last nights debacle as a learning experience. That's a big IF.

See its not all about starting the guys who can score and do nothing else

Out starting lineup had one scorer in it. I'm not sure what you're getting at.

Yea we are tied with the Cavs? What does that say? We don't need to start offensive players only to win

I'm not sure what connection you are trying to make. That shitty starting lineup put us in a 10 pt hole. The same way the shitty lineup let us go -20 over a stretch last night. The point is always have 2nd and 3rd options otherwise you are going to get shut down by the teams that play real D, plain and simple.

Even when Calderon returns?

That's why I'm confused as to why you said that in the first place. I thought you were implying that fish wants just scorers in the SL

No No.

I was refering to blanket statements that play your best players/

Thats fine but usually your best players also play great defense and don't share the same space on the floor. Usually they compliment each other inside/out

Ahh my mistake guns
VDesai @ 10/30/2014 9:13 PM
Cavs will probably turn it on and win by 20 in the 2nd half. Its close, but the Knicks didn't do that much to make me think they've fixed their offensive struggles.

Yeah most of the "keep us in the game" results

Came from the guys who are the assumed "not in Melo's league category"

Most of the productivity came from sheer hustle

And will to compete while weaving in and out of running the triangle

True but the spirit of the guys who play hard

Can set a tone going forward, Fish needs to reward those players

Not those who go to the press and tramp

Their way onto the court

Gotta have that. Can't remember which Knick was quoted as saying they want teams to know they are going to have a long night when they play the Knicks. Aldrich and Acy give the Knicks a nice bump and thump up front.
Splat @ 10/30/2014 9:16 PM
First half is comparable to last night's first quarter. Other team was just getting back on track like every other team starting the season. Once Bulls starting clicking, it was like watching an NBA team vs. Junior Varsity. Cavs don't need much to pull away just like the Bulls.
Clean @ 10/30/2014 9:16 PM
say what you want about Shaq but he knows the triangle.

So you think the Cavs might pull away?
gunsnewing @ 10/30/2014 9:17 PM
Shaq sounds like he should be on our coaching staff! He knows all the terms in the Triangle. The key thing he said is guys need to get to there spots quicker and make sharper cuts to the hoop
dk7th @ 10/30/2014 9:19 PM
shaq teaching the masses on the triangle.

really hope fisher sits players who don't compete 100%

can't have any more of the lunatics running the asylum.

it's no secret that the roster and the system are at loggerheads.

my question is what to make of mark jackson last night and now chris webber tonight about the 124 million dollar baby

TeamBall @ 10/30/2014 9:28 PM
Did I miss something about dalembert? He's not starting he 2nd half
nixluva @ 10/30/2014 9:28 PM
Pure Triangle execution is a bit much to ask for right away. As long as they keep trying to share the ball and work hard on D that's all we can ask. This team has fought hard so far.
