When has a conference been so wide open?

I'm sure Clev will get its act together but I still dont see them as any dominant team filled with wonderful chemistry at any point.

Right now I think Washington--when they get Beal back may be considered the favorites. If the Nets can keep Lopez healthy--they are also going to be up there with Toronto Atlanta Miami and Chicago.

So there are your top seeds in no particular order

Clev Chi Nets Toronto Atlanta Wash Miami--which leaves the 8th seed for one of the rest.

your picks are waaaaaaay premature. Nets and Miami are going to have very long 2nd halfs. Can we see if Deron and BroPez can last a month before we call them a playoff team? Same with Mia. Deng/Bosh/Wade is a great trio. Thats a really good team. Except Bosh historically wears down in the 2nd half of EVERY season he's ever played. Wade is a timebomb. He had nothing left last year and that was taking games off. Now he's going all out and playing like a star. He's rested. Whats the expectation of that lasting? Deng is no iron man either. Lets see Rose be healthy. Do you know Noah has foot problems also?

Your right.. its wide open but after Tor/Cle/Was its nothing but question marks and what ifs. Where is Cha in that? That have a nice squad as well. I expect Chi to do well also but have they made it out of the first round? Seems like they are so beat up from that style of play by the time playoffs come around they have nothing left

There may be no clear Favorite

At the same time there will be clear distinction

Between what teams are good and which ones aren't

We'll know in about another 10-15gms, we're not one of them
