Considering he isnt playing defense and this was the first game he actually rebounded the basketball, his body is aching from taking alot of shots? The sit down, the team is losing even WITH him, just like last year.

I see the only path to be reasonably good is melo at the 4.Its disconcerting that in game 6 that melo is hurting? But with this massive investment we have in him we must listen and make sure his minutes don't exceed 32 on most nights. If anyone noticed his first 15 were efficient and the latter not so much. For some reason he looks a little out of shape which is surprising because I thought he spent the summmer reducing weight. Nevertheless this is his best position for what we have to give us a chance to win.

I think you might be right. But as you saw last night he wore down pretty quickly. Maybe he is just not use to extra practice he did yesterday before the game. While I think the extra practice was necessary he should limit that to after a day off not on back to back.
While PF might be his best position he actually hurts the team there as he is the most inefficient PF in the game. Good PFs shoot 50% or better while he is jacking jumpers his counter part is taking shot near the rim.
It's time to take the reigns from him and turn this team over to someone else. That's right it's time to get a new focal point on the team. By mid season we should really start to look to move Melo if things go wrong with Cavs ask them if a Melo for Irving would suffice. We need a slasher a player that moves without the ball an ideal type of player would be Batun. Maybe Melo to Portland for Batun and fillers. Tough part is the no trade Claus but I can see Melo wanting out soon rather than later right situation he will wave the no trade.
Best position would be tanking this year, getting some players in the draft, free agency. Plus dumping Stat and whoever else that needs to go.

The problem with Melo at the 4, is that it adds to the log jam at PF, and further diminishes us at our paper thin position of SF. Furthermore, what are the SF options in 2015 FA? They look pretty bad:

lol at melo playing the 4... he spent all summer "losing weight" ostensibly to play the three so he can cut and move without the ball-- he looks no different after this legendary summer of getting in shape. and he isn't doing anything differently that i can see.
if you move him to the 4 then he is going to be playing more midpost and he will be banging with bigger stronger guys for position. also, the midpost position requires a level of passing and court vision and decision-making that melo does not possess-- nor does amare and i don't believe bargnani is going to be that guy either.
