It just occurred to me that Bargs may be the most interesting test case for Fish. I don't think he is completely uncoachable.

I simply believe Bargs is in the wrong career for his temperament. But his talent is not negligible. And I don't perceive Bargs as a recalcitrant douche. I just think he is out of place and in spite of the financial rewards, he'd rather be harvesting fig trees in Tuscany.

Bargs is one of those guys who can be connected with in spite of his sense of displacement. Therefore, Bargs is a good project for Fish. I'm semi-curious about how it turns out.

It's not hope....it's more like we need to know what they can do before we make a trade or something.

Bargnani is described as a bum to alot of posters but it's really not accurate. The guy gave the Knicks 14pts per and was a surprise with his post defense. He also averaged over a block a game. We all know the defense was flawed last season. This year the team defense is alot better. He should be able to blend in. Offensively he'd be in the same realm that jason smith is. Bargs can drive the ball as well. He's legit 7 foot. He's needed here

We should trade JR OR THJ and find minutes for Cleanthony Early at backup SF

Well, we still haven't gotten Bargs back. If he plays only center, then I think there's a chance he could help us reach the .300 level.

To be serious, I doubt he ever does anything even remotely significant for the rest of his days in the NBA. I hope I'm wrong, but he seems done. Maybe it's because he looks so miserable all the time.
