Knicks · We might actually just need Bargs and calderon back (page 2)

It just occurred to me that Bargs may be the most interesting test case for Fish. I don't think he is completely uncoachable.

I simply believe Bargs is in the wrong career for his temperament. But his talent is not negligible. And I don't perceive Bargs as a recalcitrant douche. I just think he is out of place and in spite of the financial rewards, he'd rather be harvesting fig trees in Tuscany.

Bargs is one of those guys who can be connected with in spite of his sense of displacement. Therefore, Bargs is a good project for Fish. I'm semi-curious about how it turns out.

Smitch implied Bargnani was tough to coach

Due to coddling, sensitivity to criticism, and despondency

We'll see if Fish has the crown jewels

To generate an inner passion to play

What is the injury report on these two guys? Knicks need to see how they function at full strength before we can talk about making improvements

You know you're in big trouble when the help you hope to get is coming from Bargnani.

It's not hope....it's more like we need to know what they can do before we make a trade or something.

Bargnani is described as a bum to alot of posters but it's really not accurate. The guy gave the Knicks 14pts per and was a surprise with his post defense. He also averaged over a block a game. We all know the defense was flawed last season. This year the team defense is alot better. He should be able to blend in. Offensively he'd be in the same realm that jason smith is. Bargs can drive the ball as well. He's legit 7 foot. He's needed here

I would like to see Bargnani at C with Acy, Melo, SHUMP and calderon. We still haven't lost with Acy settling the ton early and bringing energy, rebounding & defense.

We should trade JR OR THJ and find minutes for Cleanthony Early at backup SF

Splat @ 11/8/2014 10:53 AM
I think we can expect to see more of Early in coming games since he is already the best FG% shooter in the limited minutes he's had.

Well, we still haven't gotten Bargs back. If he plays only center, then I think there's a chance he could help us reach the .300 level.

Once he does that I say we give him 3 years/9 mil.

To be serious, I doubt he ever does anything even remotely significant for the rest of his days in the NBA. I hope I'm wrong, but he seems done. Maybe it's because he looks so miserable all the time.

And to be fair, if he plays mostly PF, I think he's capable of turning a .210 team into a .150 team.

The bargs trade is not as bad as the curry trade but close
fishmike @ 12/3/2014 9:26 PM
getting Bargs into the mix should push us to 8-30

Bring him on
