Jose Calderon (hamstring) could begin practicing before Friday.

Calderon is expected to return to practice by Friday at the latest. The Knicks could use his leadership and abilities at the point, especially as the team looks to get the Triangle offense fully integrated. As soon as Calderon can return, he's expected to take over as the team's starting point guard. He should be owned in all leagues. Nov 17 - 9:56 AM

Thanks. What does the bolded text mean? Sounds like a board comment, not a status report comment.

So, I'm assuming it was a subjective statement as in a 13 year old saying Powned? AKA Jose will be abused by all PGs when he returns.

Sorry, I am slow witted.

It's referring to fantasy basketball. Jose Calderon is good enough and should put up good enough stats that he shouldn't be a free agent in any fantasy league; if he is a free agent in your league you should pick him up.

Aha, thanks. I had no idea.

It's the same procedure Amare had on both knees, so do we classify him as amare prt 2

Early caught a case of knee Debridement?

Very unfortunate for the kid wanted to see him play more

Even when you steal draft picks it's a crap shoot

In regards to their health, not quite sure if stolen though

After watching the Bulls demolish the Clippers

Last night I wonder if this was by Thibs design to

Not have Rose and Gasol play that game

Maybe he saw those injuries mos in advance[I guess in Rose's case]

But he still coached his team to win games convincingly regardless

Knee Debridement is not a regular arthroscopic surgery. I see no where that Early had that. Removing loose cartilage and have a debridement are very different things.

Bargs and Jose should target the Philly game

Not sure why Jose is taking his sweet time

And like Phil said Bargs can have a surprise yr playing

His minutes with Jose, we're losing so much time to catch up

This is about the dumbest comment I can think of. Player is injured and you think there is a set time table for return? Come on man, start posting like you are trying

I will wager Melo has either herniated or bulging discs- left the arena to see a Dr who could prescribe something not available at the arena, so probably morphine based- they don't give that for back spasms.

Whatever it was, it did not look good. He could barely move. Even if it is not a disc bulge, a back that much out of whack can still keep him off the court for a while. I don't expect to see him back very quickly.

They should just shut melo down for a while. lets face it even with melo we were only winning 25-30 games anyway this year. Now we have a chance at getting a top 3 draft pick. Then this summer we get rid of the terrible contracts and can add more talent. For the rest of the season they should start playing the younger guys like Hardaway(who isnt being used correctly) Larkin, Wear, and Early(when he comes back) to see how they fit as well as develop

I predicted Melo's vacation would start after the holidays. Looks like it starts now. Good timing to tank harder. I don't want more than double our current win total in the next month. Now that may be possible. Unless the team plays better without Melo and starts putting together 4 quarters like their better play in Houston. Nah!
