Love games like this--shows we have talent and guys who can help other teams'.
To me almost every guy is available other than Melo. I can see clubs having interest in Dalembart Prigs possibly Calderon Jr Smith maybe Jason Smith Shumpert. Dump all of our 1 yr contracts for the best deals we can--then go to the young players Hardaway Larkin Wear and guys we pick up. Let these guys develop over the 2nd half with extended minutes--and hope they can all be a part of the plan going 4 ward
I get the feeling that Fish isn't a big fan of Hardaway
...I get the feeling that Fisher is showcasing JR and Shumpert and something has to give, lol.

You might've been right about flipping JR for Derrick Williams. Throw in some cash and the Kings might budge.
And in the past, I've been steadfast AGAINST keeping Calderon. I felt that he was good enough to play us out of a top tier lottery pick but not good enough to make us into a worthwhile team. After tonight though, he kind of nestled himself into my sports heart. He might be a great mentor to Reggie Jackson (who I agree that we should sign). But how can we inactive/limit Calderon for the season? And would doing so be worth the opportunity cost ($7 million more in cap space, the next 3 years)?

JR especially. You can only hope it ends up like we're all hoping.

Yeah but JR is screwing up that plan with boneheaded play. Like I alluded to in the game thread, he does the exact opposite of what you need him to do. So if you want to win, he'll help you lose but if you want to lose, he'll help you win. To say that he's an enigma would be an understatement. I can't wait until he's some other team's problem.
If we are showcasing JR after the performance tonight we are screwed

If the sixers are serious about tanking, Jr would be perfect for them

The Sixers are 0-15 right now I think they have
The Blueprint To Tanking
If we're showcasing J.R. then we're
Leaving teams in a state of turn off
We have to find a way to get teams Turnt Up
On J.R. and the best way to do that is to not play him

I'm holding out hope that JR has his usual string of games where he plays like he gets it. When that happens, Phil needs to find the first sucker and pounce.
The problem is JR has the ability to scare teams away with his stupidity and his stupid twitter account.

What the sixers are doing is fraud.

Calderon's contract only runs 2 years after this one. Not sure if you meant 3 years after this one but if so I just wanted to put this here cause after next season yes an expiring and can probably be traded easily if need be.

To be fair if Embild was healthy and is real deal then they automatically jump multiple levels. Also Dario Saric there other lottery pick is overseas. That's 2 lottery picks that aren't playing for them currently. Tony Wroten, Mcdaniels, MCW have a lot of talent and potential. Though MCW can't shoot if his life depended on it at the moment. They will also have 2 2015 first round picks.
But I don't get not going after any quality free agents. With all the young talent they have on the team whose contracts won't be escalated until 2017-18. They could have easily thrown money at guys guys to 3-4yr deals and have them expire when the rookie scale players start to seek huge contracts. They could really be loaded right now the way Golden State is loaded.

The NBA promotes this so I don't think it is fraud at all.
Dalembart-- if he can give is 5-6 games like he did last night--we could get a future 1 from a playoff team for him.
No way Briggs. Has he ever had 5-6 games like that in his entire career?
He had 13 & 13 meanwhile TYSON had 17 & 25
I don't think Calderon is going anywhere. He's the perfect fit for this team and is on a reasonable contract. You need guys like him with his shooting, poise, and leadership to win. He will be in this role for now then will probably transition into a role Similar to what Kidd was with us.

Yeah did we forget what Tyson did
How come fans aren't outraged
Tyson pretty much Hibbert Dalembert
