It's time, hes our best option at the 2 guard we always make runs with timmy in the game. till fish pulls him for fake defense in shump(not a good defender) and dont get me started on jr(derick colman) chucker plays at 50 percent about 90 percent of the time… thjr is the only 2 guard that plays with heart and can score the ball. Even though thjr is not a great defender, timmy is just as good as shump fake ass defense or jr chuckers non exsistance defense. exp is how all three played d wade.. thjr for big minutes starting tuesday!!
Do this until Dec 15th then we'll have
More intel on what we should do with him going forward
i like thj but he doesn't do anything except shoot the ball. he's a liability defensively just like everyone else is.

and he is feast or famine as a shooter. mostly famine right now.

You do this to either confirm your assessment or debunk it
We have nothing to lose, playing heavy minutes

And not to mention he doesn't pass nor rebound...

How much you want to put on if he plays
30min/gm he gets more rebounds and assists[probably doubles his averages at worst]

are the other 2 in jr or shump any different at least we can feast at times with timmy unlike shump or jr

No thanks. I rather stick with Shump and hope he gets out of a 5 game funk. A lot of games left to play. THJ will get consistent minutes when JR is gone. As a reserve scoring specialist

bro i know you love shump and wanna see him play well (we all do) but how long before you realize that this is what he is? he will forever show flashes of brilliance from time to time but its just that - flashes. the guy will never be a consistent player.

If he is a liability like everyone else on defense, why penelising him for defensive mistakes? FISHER HAS NO FREAKING CLUE
What I get from watching these games is that Shump and Caderon are the only ones making an effort to play within the triangle and trying create good shots for teammates. Shump has to keep working on his jumpshot and finishing but he is getting good looks. That's more than I can say about JR & THJ chucking.
I do like like THJ in a 6th man role since he is very good at getting to the basket in transition. Just had to give a LITTLE effort on defense.
JR is a lost cause. Plays like he is completely detached from the team on both ends

Team before Player
So your line of thinking will never fly
If THJR can't show any signs once given a decent trial run of play
He's on Alcatraz along with Shump and J.R. Smith
Let it go Guns Shump is not in our long term plans and he sucks
The sooner you do the less it'll hurt
He went from 70 to 40 Real Quick

He could not secure a rebound if it was shoved up his ass

because offensively he isn't really better than anyone either. he's a set-shooter and nothing else.
No one on this team plays NBA defense. At least Shumpert at times looks like an NBA defender. Kinda like Tyson did and now Tyson is All World in Dallas.
If by seasons end Shump is still struggling then we draft a cornerstone big and go after a SG with major upside like Reggie Jackson. Someone who impacts the game in a multitude of ways. Not THJ, a scoring/run and gun specialist 6th man

Here's the deal I'm not gonna pick and choose
When certain statistical categories should matter from player to player
I'm not gonna big up TS% for one player and then rebounds for another
If THJR gets 30min/gm and can't be more productive
Then adios frenemios, why portray oneself as a middle schooler who's crushed in spirit
After being dumped by the school clown
The lubby dubby stuff by some fans needs to end
There isn't 1 single player on this team any fan UK and abroad
Should be emotionally attached to, none at all

OK: he doubles his averages, let's say that hypothetically. In 18 games he has 18 rebounds and 22 dimes. So that's 2 rebounds and 2 assists if he doubles his averages. That, plus bad defense and simply average shooting is pretty meh. And that's if he doubles his minutes to from 18 to 36 minutes per night.
Listen, I wish the kid well and hope he becomes a good player! I think he has some upside. But right now? He's certainly not a starter. Or at least a starter who is going to make any difference on this team.

I disagree. THJ is by far the only guard who knows and understand the triangle. When he and Larkin are on the floor together, you can see better movement on offense and swarming defense from the backfield. However, their strong defense is always marginalized by Amare when he is on the floor. Amare not only never look to pass the ball on offense, he is even worst on defense. THJ is the more talented guard out of the three SGs

F5 does not understand that every stat counts.
I believe that I posted in a previous thread that THJ was the worst rebounder in the NBA per 36 minutes.
So now we would have the worst rebounder in the league for more of the game?
If one is bad at one thing but they make up for it in other areas (e.g. Kidd could not shoot yet he was a huge net positive)
Thj is bad at everything right now. EVERYTHING.
These black and white arguments are strange.
