Knicks · Why don't we stop the blame game. We all knew what this season would be like. Did you really think this team was good? (page 1)

Come on guys we knew this was a throw away season and really next season may be just a little better but no championship team. All of the team who have stars who could make a difference will probably be resigning. Do you really think they will sign because of Phil Jackson? I don't think so. There is something we must undetstand that with the exception of Melo no one in our starting lineup is really a starter. So why bitch and moan on every thread. Be creative. The knicks need to have a top 3 draft pick to make a difference. We need a center and get rid of everyone with the exception of Melo because no one is worth keeping. Stop complaining so much. Have constructive ideas.

I was not expecting a great season, but I was not expecting a debacle of Amare and JR Smith. I was at least expecting to see THJ, Larkin, Cleantony, and Wear getting heavy minutes

THJ if a keeper is going thru the growing pains of a sophmore season and perhaps learning the system. Larkin is ok, wear is being groomed and of course Clearanthony is hurt.
Amare is fine but doubtful the system is working for him. I'd like to see him traded. JR low IQ is more apparent in a more structured environment. Woodson played to his teams strenghts. The veterans are getting a chance but if they can't perform they'll be replaced.

This season should be about Fisher's development as a coach (don't believe he is going anywhere for at least another season) and finding role players good enough to build a contender when we have the money to go after FA's. We all knew it would get ugly, maybe not this ugly but I doubt anyone here didn't think there wouldn't be times like these. Just have to hope our coach and our young players use the time wisely.

I see a few positives with this team. Specifically on defense. Although not sustainable, Whenever Larkin, Hardaway, Wear, Acy, are on the court together, we actually play some pretty good "suffocating" defense. Unfortunately, you only see this lineup when teams are ahead by at least 20 points:::))

I thought we would win at least 70 games, although I did go overboard with the RecordPredictor at 81-1.

I had dreams. Bargs hitting the open j's. PG solidified for once. Melo-lite not having to score EVERY basket. Contract double/double Amare! Yoots! We had quality yoots! Cole with a year of garbage time under his belt! THJr breakout SuperSoph! SammyNoFlu on the D!

Oh well...
