I saw him turn down a lot of the shots he would usually jacked up in the past. Someone needs to sit next to this kid on the bench to help him understand the game a little more. He needs to Learn that not all shots are good shots. He needs to Learn to drive the ball and use his athleticism to get to the basket. Every time he has done that, he has scored.
On defense, I don't understand why this kid has been asked to sag off of the guy he is guarding. At this juncture of his career, be should be asked to glue himself to whomever he is guarding. Move as he moves, don't allow separation; and play the passing lanes.
Let's face it, I don't know how good our coaches are when it comes to coaching defense.
