Watching the Celtics' broadcast on the NBA Directv package and, believe me, they're none too happy about losing to the Knicks.

When we win Melo gets a 15% kicker

LOL You have to admit it's been far too long since the last one.

This was the weakest moment in the rest of December's schedule. If they didn't win this one, it was 4-28 by the end of the month. Now it is 5-27 or better if the win gives them a lift and they compete for more wins.

Hardaway had 5 rebounds.

that tied his career high I think.

Jason Smith had 5 rebs tonight too which is humongous for him this season.

I love when Hardaway attacks the basket and gets out on the break. We need that from our guards and he's pretty much the best finisher.

If Smith can lose some of his defensive ineptitude, he can get a lot more PT. Seems he can excel in the triangle offense which is designed to create the mid-range jumpers at which Smith excels.

I posted it because you said it was his career high the other night. Hopefully this continues with more minutes.

He is honestly the worst ref in the game- I'm sure he leads the league in official rebukes by the league (I'm sure last season the league say he got the call wrong in 3 end of game situations). He's awful in the playoffs- I remember he screwed us over in that Heat debacle. Commentators hate him. Even Hahn called him out after the game.

Remember this? Ha!

Do some people still think the team is tanking or isn't trying to win? We just pulled ahead of Detroit in the standings.

If they are not going to rest Melo, then the answer would be they are not trying to tank.

There have been mixed signals that probably won't be cleared up by two dates:

Dec. 15th - trades (may indicate how they showcased players up to now)

Jan. 15th - half month into soft January schedule. See if they keep dropping games in January.

Mostly, whether Melo sits and secondarily how Fish handles the rotation.

One win against a Boston team that sounds like it was highly unmotivated does not constitute a change of direction yet.

We won a game, the Pistons won a game- some nights we're going to go for win- you don't expect us to go 0-60 do you? But the beauty of it is, whether we're trying to win or lose, we will usually lose because we are awful!

However I am slightly worried- how bad are the Pistons, the Sixers, Twolves, Jazz, Hornets, Pacers, Celtics,?! I feel like we've lost every game but we still have pretty much the same number of wins as all those teams- this tanking business is harder than you'd think. I'm worried that we rack up some wins when the schedule softens in January.

I guess it depends on how tanking is defined. I don't see how a team could accidentally win an NBA game. You could set your team up to lose games by playing young, inferior players, but we clearly haven't been doing that.

Some guys maybe on display for trades though.

The way Fisher was calling timeouts last night

He was trying to get this win badly

Brad Stevens on the other hand looked like

He could give a rats arse about last nights game

As did many Celtics

Really disappointed the Knicks won last night. Was hoping for 4-78
