You make a good point. The bulls are a gret defensive team and yet we looked more fluid on offense. Granted timmy and amare carried the load but cole and even wear chipped in. Melo is what he is he wont make a team better he can score

It's obvious he throws the system way off, along with J.R.
Then Stat follows suit and gets real selfish
Ultimately you need someone who's a major alpha
To keep Melo in his lane a la Billups
Or someone who's a better all around player team player than him
It is not because of Carmelo. Fisher shortened the rotation and ended with better continuity.

the term superstar can be misleading nowadays. Melo is a all star scorer but i dont consider him a elite talent like lebron,durant,and the emerging anthony davis
Melo is not better individually we played better as a team that is top 7 in the league with melo I feel we woulda lost by 15

This thread was so predictable. Got home late, turned the game on and saw the Knicks down by 3 very late in the game. I knew the moment I logged in to this site I would see a thread about us being better without Melo....SMH
Again though we were down by 1 a nd Jason smith goes up for a dunk and gets mauled by Noah with no call that was a game changer

But we got plenty done within the system

its not really a bad argument even the broadcasters mentioned it. I like melo but i am fair about his strengths and weaknesses
