I respect The heck outta the guy for playing through injuries but next year is more important since we hopefully will add more talent and a top draft pick. Also we dont have our pick next year so we need to be good. I rather he shut it down so he will be healthy and fresh next year

This whole injury drama is so dirty and foul at this point, there is nothing to believe.
I have never seen a team handle a player like this. This is a leaderless franchise from the top down. Melo has become the ultimate symptom of its dysfunction.
There is no master plan. Phil is rudderless. Melo plays. Melo sits. He is hurt. He is OK. What a load of rubbish.
I don't see this happening.
Melo has reached the point in his career where every game counts towards his all time totals, namely in the points department.
He knows there's a good chance he won't be remembered as the winner he wants to be remembered as, so the next best option is to keep adding to those totals.
