I love the Knicks but it's been a chore to bare the weight of all this disgraceful losing everyday. "What's up with your team bro?" I can't even give an educated response cuz we suck....not fun to talk basketball around knick haters and they are everywhere....

I collect and sell Baseball/Football/Basketball cards.
Lots of things:
- Going to gym, yoga
- Playing basketball
- Music/concerts
- Video games (sometimes)
- Audiobooks/novels - Reading Game of Thrones right now
- WWE
- Traveling
- Playing guitar (poorly) and singing (not as poor as my guitar play)
On this note, I took singing lessons with a well-known singer from the Netherlands in 2012.
- Working on my own business
... and plenty more.
I don't anticipate watching the Knicks again for quite a while. Maybe 2015, maybe 2016, maybe 2017. I'm done until there's a reason to watch. My time is valuable and they haven't earned it.
- Cooking
- Reading
- Music (vocals, piano)
- Outdoor sports (mtn biking, rock and ice climbing, xc and downhill skiing)
- Photography (sports, landscape, flowers, critters)
- Travel (never a cruise)
I set a goal to get in the best shape of my life and mean it this time. I got myself on a 8 month program I put together. I'm finishing up phase 1 this week which has been 3 months of lifting heavy trying to Improve my strength.
My improvement:
Flat bench
from 185lbs max to 245lbs max
deadlift
From 275lbs max to 375lbs max
back squat
From 185lbs max to 295lbs max
I'm doing 225lbs 5 reps on my bent over rows and i got my overhead press up to 155lbs 5 reps.
Aside from that i been home with my 8 month old and wife which is a full schedule in itself.
I'm really gearing up for phase 2 of my routine which will shift from strength to power. I'm also trying to find the time to study to get certified as a personal trainer too. It's alot of fun for me.
- Listening to my wife tell me that the Knicks really stink.
- Lifting and cardio while praying to God that Phil works some sort of trade magic
- Working on the jumper.
- Splitting firewood. Great anti-stress after browsing through all these Somber threads.
- Robotron 2084 on the PS1.
- Rebuilding my pickup.
- Simplifying life by selling 30 years of accumulated junk, a box or two or ten at a time.
- Hoping the Yankees won't suck as much a the Knicks currently do.
- Celebrating the end of the Giants suckhole season.
- knowing the nets are as screwed or more screwed than us
- sports relief...manchester city in soccer. thank the freak god since ny sports are a joke...although will be fun to watch nycfc when they start
Mostly music. At some point I just stopped watching games and that made a lot more time available for practicing. I've made a lot of progress over the past six or seven years. So, um, thanks Knicks for being so terrible?
What Jones said, only with booze instead of music.
- Reading. I was hoping to read at least a book per week this year but only got to 34, though it should be 35 before the Thursday.
- Video games. I'm a big Nintendo fanboy and bought both a Wii-U and 3DS last year.
- Moderating. I'm a moderator of one of the default subs on reddit and that takes up a bit of time.
- Playing with my dogs. They're pretty awesome.
- Drinking. Lots of drinking. How else am I supposed to get through the Knicks, Giants, and Mets this year and deal with my job at the same time?
- Mets. I went to 15 or so Mets games last year and plan on doing the same this year. It's way cheaper than going to see the Knicks or Giants.
- Museums. I travel a lot for work and whenever I'm in or near a city I try and check out their local art and history museums.
- Baking. I like to cook in general but I love baking. Just wish I had a better kitchen, mine sucks.
For next year I'd like to:
- Exercise. I've never been in particularly good shape and now I'm getting closer to an age where I really need to worry about that. I hope to be under 200 lbs by the end of the year.
- Volunteer. I've done volunteer work on and off for the last several years and I'd really like to do it on a more consistent basis.
- Music. I'd like to learn an instrument this year. I played piano when I was little and I still remember the basics. I even have one I can play on but it needs to get tuned/fixed.
- Dancing. I started ballroom/latin dancing lessons a couple of years ago and really enjoyed them but after I got my current job it became almost impossible to get to classes during the week.
Destiny. If it wasn't for Bungie I might still be watching games.
Thanks Bungie!
