Knicks · OT: Lebron Turning Into ["I'M Getting Mine"]? (page 1)

F500ONE @ 12/30/2014 10:32 AM
And they wonder why there are problems in Cleveland

This dude needs to take a long hard look into the mirror

He's supposed to be setting the example being THE LEADER

You know Lebron the guy who said early in the season

These players haven't won much and played in any meaningful games

Thus far in their career and they have to learn how important each game is

And he's demonstrating this kind of play on the court?

In the second gif he clearly made it a mano-a-mano game with Tobias

Lebron ended up getting the best of him but rest assured

The very next game against Detroit @ home they got waxed and justifiably so

What a douchebag and Waiters has taken a lot of crap from Cleveland since being

On a team that appears to have a host of agenda driven individuals in the organization

Reminds me of this

And you wonder why Melo is the most hated man in NYC. Lebron is the best player in the world and would get eaten alive here too.
yellowboy90 @ 12/30/2014 10:40 AM
Lebron has had some interesting quotes this year. I think he said something to the effect that he is above coaching and in Orlando after the game aginst the Magic he said he was just in "coast mode" until Tobias Harris started chirping.

The whole league is heading in that direction. I brought this up in a few anti-Melo threads regarding the contract, etc. The LeBron "taking less" (he really didn't) thing was a one off. Going into the lockout everybody is going to get the most they possibly can (Bosh, Melo, LeBron, etc) as directed by the Players Association.

Interesting segment on NBA TV last night where they blasted LeBron's effort and talked about his "coasting" comments. Wondering where the competitive fire/leadership is.

How is Melo the most hated man in NYC? Outside of this board, I rarely hear a negative thing about Melo.

He is polarizing ...

many outside of this board hate him.

many on this board love him more than most outside of this board though.

He is wearing out his welcome quickly. If he does not produce next year then he will be hated 5 times as much as bargs.

Yeah i was exaggerating, most do appreciate his talent, but NYK fans are by far the most critical fanbase of individual players. Ewing got terrible treatment at times as well. Lebron would have got the same if he didn't come here and win a title every season.

I would love to see how that plays out, and would hope that Knicks fans would do that, but NY fans are irrational. Remember how Yankees fans ran Posada out of town. On the flip side they were cool with Jeter at short even though he was beyond finished in the field. Eli gets burried all the time. I do question if the NY media is a deterrent for a lot of players when considering NY as an option.

until you fall off, then they will forget. One title in NY gives you a great legacy, but we see knee-jerk reactions here all the time. As soon as that player falls off or has a bad season he's done here. Melo is viewed here as a depreciating asset, whereas Kobe in LA is not viewed that way despite being 6 years older.

If Eli did not win rings for us (single handedly - almost), we would be sh1tting on his head.

Kobe has kind of wore out his welcome somewhat in L.A.

What's saved him of course are the Titles, Big Game performances, and

The fact he's currently breaking records on his way out

But rest assured many fans in Lakerland hate the way he's played past 5yrs or so

You started disrespecting the crowd in Orlando

I've never like Lebron since I saw him toying with everyone before he hit free agency

I knew he was dirtbag then and he still is

really a dirtbag? come on.

Jordan was a sociopathic azzhole.
Kobe is an egocentric difficult teammate.
Leborn is this generations greatest player.

And you accuse him of being a Dirtbag?
We know you think Melo is.
So what about durant that you love?

Dwight is a child.
Harden is selfich.
Westbrook is wild.
Dirk/Timmy is old.
Parker/Manu past prime.
Gasol is soft.

Tell us F500, who do you like???

"Listen man, I don't pay no bills around here. I play," James said following Monday's practice.

If you're waiting for a ringing endorsement from James on behalf of Blatt, it's not happening. It's much too soon.

"He's our coach, I mean, what other coach do we have?" James said.

There is immense pressure to keep The King happy.

LOL exactumundo. Either name names or move on right? The "critical" posters cant name the names of players they want to acquire draft etc... it's very easy to say no they sck he scks blah blah but actually having the concept the idea's knowing the players and how they might fit--whole different ball of wax. When you say this guy that guy--atleast you have a thought pattern. Melo doesnt sck--rather its the rest of the team that scks.

its all about context.

Melo may not suck but ...

But he sure looks like he sucks @ 124 per year, a no trade clause and a creaky body

most people in retrospect don't make that deal today.

Why the HELL would Lebron give up the ball to Waiters 4 feet behind the arc? GEEEEEEEEEEEEZ ... you and your agendas.

7.6 assists per game (up 1.3 from last year!!)! Are you insane? Stop looking for things to prove stupid points.
