That is strange. Wonder if there is more to come?
I thought there was a comment from Phil on the Knick site.

JAX (on trade, per NYT today):
“As our journey moves through this season, we will search for the type of players that fit the style we hope to exhibit for our fans,” Jackson said in a statement. “Our desire is to improve our ability to compete. In addition, these transactions improve our flexibility to the current roster and the salary cap for future seasons.”

My son is an outstanding 8th grade PG. I've been scouting him for his entire career. He rocks AAU, but afaik he would rather be the successor to John Wall on the Wizzies than have anything to do with a Dolan-owned team.
Smart kid!

My son is a Melo fan and said he will dunk on him when he gets older....He's probably going to be a better shooter than me, and that's saying a lot since shooting is one of my best skills. He's 5yrs old right now, but shoots about 20-30 jumpers a day from his bed....And works on dribbling exercises everyday. During his first basketball season, he was the best long range shooter, and loves ISO plays.....So he's half way there to becoming a typical NBA player.
I asked him what do you want to major in when you go to college.....He said basketball. Obviously, this conversation is a little early for a 5 yr old, but I thought it was a typical answer for kids who thinks making it to the league is easy. You have a better chance to go pro at soccer or baseball.
