Im certain we will finish with the worst record the NBA has ever seen. The record for most losses in a row is 23/24, we will blow that out of the water and lose something like 30 games in a row.
OK4
guaranteed ... well ... sort of ... like 25 percent?
Some chance is better than no chance.

Exactly how Phil "planned" it
Even if we get a Number 1, 2 or 3 pick..we have a coach that (more than likely will end up with 9 wins) what gives anyone faith in a coach that holds the worst record in franchise history and maybe the NBA.
9 wins 2014/15
25 wins 2015/16
33 win 2016/17
Is that when you guys will start to reconsider
we officially have the best shot at Okafor

Easy. Its not bad coaching its talent. When he fails with some decent players who were picked by the same GM that hired the coach may the reconsidering begin. This is a good year to let Fisher take his lumps.

yes but as opposed to most posts, lets assume that we are NOT getting him.
Or maybe we can assume that we ARE getting him in only 1 out of every 4 posts.

Anything wrong with dreaming big? Does it cost anything to recognize that we have a chance at success? I think no one is ignorant of the fact that it's Lottery and not a guarantee. The point is that we should have a ticket for the 1st time in a while and it's not a Coach Class but a First Class ticket. Cheer up cuz this happens so rarely for the Knicks. Surely you realize the history?

Oh he's taking lumps, the team is not competing at all, how does a player learn from that, how does he develop if all he knows is losing.
If i show you how to drive, and you wreck every car, do you continue to let me teach you.

just while you assume that we are getting him, I will assume that we are not getting him.
half full vs 3 quarters empty

You are talking out of your ass!!! You must not even watch games anymore cuz players haven't stopped competing. They just aren't good enough to win, but the players are giving effort and being developed. I really think you need to relax on this one cuz it's not worth the effort. Fish is going to get his chance to coach this team after it's been rebuilt.
I'm not gonna lie I wanted to tank in so many years, for instance when LeBron was coming out that being the leader in lottery balls as of now feels like winning a championship. Remember this moment guys it might be the greatest moment in this franchises history since winning the 85 lottery.

You keep saying that we're assuming that we're getting Okafor and NO ONE has ever said that. NO ONE is foolish enough to assume that. Stop making this false argument. You can go ahead and be pessimistic about getting the top pick but it has no impact and no value whatsoever. It's meaningless. It's up to chance which no one can control, but there IS A CHANCE, which is better than having no chance and watching from the sidelines as usual. CHEER THE F UP CUZ THIS IS A GOOD THING!!!

I am so exited... finally Knicks are doing something right.
Long overdo...

you don't need to keep yelling. I know where we stand ... we simply have a 1 in 4 chance. It aint complicated. It is great that we have a chance ...
You don't see how most posts / scenarios have lineups that will include Ok4?
Finally over the last couple of days I see some people smartening up and assuming that we will get someone else.

yesterday after the knicks cut the lead to 8 in the 3rd quarter, they proceeded to turn the ball over 7 straight possession, in the middle of the 7 straight TO's, fisher called 2 time outs, and the team came back and did the same exact thing that were resulting in the TO's.
They wouldn't even pump fake the pass and go back door..

Assuming we won't is meaningless. We can't control whether we get Okafor or not. It's up to Chance. Therefore it's OK for people to dream big. There's no penalty for hoping. If we had no shot at getting him then that would be different but since we currently have a shot it's fine to imagine winning the lottery.

I would say its YOUR fault for teaching me in the car, and if your pissed about me wrecking them you should have sent me to drivers-ed where I can practice in simulation like everyone else. This is Fishers drivers-ed.
Team did compete. 17 of the first 22 losses were by 5 points or less. They lacked the ponies to finish. Now with the towel waived the blowouts commence.
Saying the team never competed is not accurate.
