Not that I believe that but it's a good selling point

I believe it. You should sell cars

Yeah. I hear the Ford Pinto is a great deal! Maybe Jose could teach young players how to miss layups AND jumpshots, just like Jkidd! Spill the Pepsi!

I think Phil needs to give his girl friend a call on this it's a win win for each team

I'd love to get Lin back - I was watching him last night against portland- and he still looks like he can be effective. Not sure his game fits the triangle, and don't see him coming through trade vs. FA in the offseason.

Bargs should just be released already. I don't see us taking on salary, and that is the only way Bargs has value to a team.

Hell no to Lin. The dude can't defend his position; it is time for us to acquire two- way players instead of one trick ponies.

One season after this one I believe. 7.5 mil per year. We almost half way thru this year.

Bargs is about getting healthy. Bargs healthy is 15-6 player.
Just my take. This guy has been a huge disappointment for the team in regards to the cost to get him, his on court time very limited, and as a trade asset.
Hope I think was KNicks would muddle around the middle of the pack and he'd gave decent trade potential.

No!

2 seasons after this one!!!

Yup ... believer yet in the master plan?

THJ is a sophomore who is new to the professional game. I would give him one more year to show that he has the intelligence necessary to play the game effectively at both ends of the court. After nex year if he does not improve, please get rid of him for a bag of peanuts.

thats the problem. We need to stop waiting until they are only worth a bag of peanuts.

At this point, I don't mind if he is traded. I would hope for him to develop with the Knicks, but I am getting a lilttle sick and tired of his 3 point shot selection. He is taking too many three point shots in my opinion, and he is not showing that he is a very smart player when he is on the court. For what it is worth, fisher has not do e a good job coaching him

Since nobody else has said it on a Jose thread, Stretch Provision. I liked the idea but it would be difficult to pull off this trade.

That is true, but also weigh in the fact that the Lakers front office arn't exactly the smartest ones out there. So as I said it would be difficult and unlikely

haha .... there is dumb and there is bargs-trade dumb. Nobody is bargs trade dumb.

In a perfect world what the article said about Jose is true, teams still has interest in him. So Phil tries to use that to unload bargs but that's just a ploy. Really he just wants to get rid of Calderon and not take anything back.

when I mean bargs trade dumb I mean the NY Toronto trade.

This trade is dumb because Jose is signed for 2 years after this one at 7.5ish.

Why would LA take that on for expirings?

Answer: They wouldn't in a million years but these threads are fun
