29 points 10 of 19, also shot 8 for 14 from 3 ball,4 steals. The dude is avg 22 points since leaving the bermuda triangle..
Every NBA players took off the Knicks jersey will have all-star performance on other teams. The fact speaks for itself.
I would just start Kevin Love at C and move LBJ to PF

was he holding back & dogging it - not wanting to learn a new system?
Or was the system holding him back?
Based on how he looked, we sure as heck should have gotten more for him than a simple dump that we had to pay for with Shump.
No, please don't trade him back.
He had a good shooting day,all it was.

Talk about open rim season.
Also, I think love missed most of the second half of tonight's game. They need to really work on getting him comfortable.

Kevin Love is a true power forward. Not somebody you can move to center.
Call me when he plays like this consistently. He will revert, he is just a lazy person who likes to party otherwise he would have done better in NY. Maybe there are less distractions in Cleveland but I don't buy that he can turn things around. He played big for us for a while and then stunk it up, same thing will happen here.
It's just one game! Did we somehow forget what having this dude on the team night in night out was like? I don't care if he scored 100 points on 89% shooting he's a bum!
22 points a game? He's averaging 15 points on 14.3 shots!

Bingo.
LOL. did jr smith play in the triangle every game of his career prior to joining the cavs?
shame what's happening here.
Look at his +/- figures for the game and tell me again
why you'd even care to follow this train wreck.
We got the best season JR is ever going to produce in the NBA and it helped us to a 54 win season. If you look at that team and the demise from that level of play to what we saw last year two things jump out. 1) the uselessness of Bargs and 2) the decline in play from JR/Felton/Chandler.
JR may very well be capable of another season like he had in 2012. But whoever gets that year will probably have to deal with a year of BS before it and after it. Ill pass.
Let's see him do this over time. We know he is capable of these numbers but how log will he keep it up. You know it's just a tweet away/shoe lace away/blunt away from becoming a disaster.
JR has talent, and he's going to have plenty of games like this. We knew what we were giving away.
He's also a major knucklehead and a disruptive influence in the locker room. The guy has his priorities out of whack, and was not going to provide any sort of example for our yoots. Plus he likes to party...DURING THE PLAYOFFS. Props to Rihanna for calling him out.
We got rid of JR with our eyes WIDE open. He's gone and we're better off for it. Sucks we had to lose Shump, too, but we were never going to sign him, so he was going anyway. Cavs did us a favor, even though they can count on a few breakout games from JR every couple of months.
Noobdy said JR lacked talent.
He can go for 30 on any given nite.
Problem is which nite?
He is unreliable for many reasons.
What you guys are failing to realize, the system has every player baffled, and losing value by the game, fisher is not making one single adjustment, not one.
If phil manages to trade calderon and THJ, or anybody for the matter, your going to see the same spike in these players stats. Jr looks way more comfy in their system, he's not thinking, he's reacting, he's just playing.
so when you guys are talking about we have zero talent, i'm baffled as hell, because i've seen every player on this roster play 10x better on other teams and in college.

Blaming the system for players that aren't being receptive to it isn't what this game is about. The players that adjust to system seem to win more than lose. Great players took to the system and were better for it. While I do agree that the system requires great players to win what system doesn't. Fisher avoid meaningless victories that is what see, they are giving the Knicks the best chances at a high draft pick.

You bringing a high draft pick, and have a coaching staff that can't develop players, or teach them effectively. I can understand if it was just a few players on the roster that aren't getting it, but when 15 out of 15 are completely clueless, when does the leadership come into play.
Most of us have realize the game has change, 75% of the game is perimeter orientated, and we chose to have a defensive system that basically ignores the perimeter.
