I hate this...I can't stand not looking forward to watching the Knicks...Fans has been itching for this for years..I can't understand it..Winter is just miserable..The only thing you can looking forward to is getting home in time to see the Knicks...Now nothing..At least in previous years the team was somewhat competitive and the games were watchable..Now, it's a complete disaster...Folks want to run another 3 to 4 years of this for a full rebuild, which could end up where we started??....Naw, can't do it..Phil needs to work his arse to get some talent in here...
Atleast after this year you will have another player to watch as he develops. I agree that it certainly sucks for this year though

At least those games were watchable..Now??..Melo only playing at ticket selling events..we be tanking..But that wasn't the plan at the start of the season which is scary..
Only thing scaring me is that Phil thought he had a playoff team, thought Calderon was a player, and Fish could coach...

We need to be patient and winning is not the only thing in sport.
The worst part for me is after the trade deadline, when you don't even have potential trades to keep your interest. I think tanking is a bit better than being a 23 win team (twice in the IT era), simply because I quite enjoy keeping track of the worst teams and how we are doing in relation to them, and then it all culminates with the draft lottery and then the lottery itself. Those IT era losing seasons were brutal- we didn't even have our picks.
Still it's pretty brutal when you look at the number of games played, and realise we're not even half way through yet!

You gotta sit back and enjoy the game sometimes. Get familiar with the plays, and scout other teams. We have to stay the course. We are on the right track

1. Get netflix and watch all Madmen episodes.
2. Collect porn and sleep more.
3. Get ready for baseball. I mean really study them analytics!
4. Get addicted to Youtube and watch old games.
5. Gets meds for depression.
6. Paint the house, rooms, etc.
7. Watch other teams, get mad, rant on the UK.

I joined Netflix two weeks ago...Started watching Breaking Bad and Marco Polo..This is Mizzz..
I haven't watched a full game. I haven't watched a half of Knick basketball this year. It's just painful so I make it easy for myself.

I was watching the Rory Sparrow and Ken "the Animal Bannister" years...Was listening to the radio the Butch Beard years when Knicks weren't on TV...I'm scarred..

I watched more Giants games this season than I have Knicks games. It wouldn't surprise me if that was true at the end of the year either.

I watched all Giant games except for 1 because I forgot to DVR the game. At least with the Giants they were competitive. Plus they have likeable players. Melo is a hard player to root for.
When you drain your team, completely, of assets, this is what happens. This should be a surprise to nobody. Be grateful we have a nice pick coming up because if we suck again next season (a very real possibility) we have to switch with Denver.

Don't let this year's team impact your faith in Phil too much. This was not his BEST effort given that he was just trying to PATCH something together, make it thru this season and NEVER intended this to be the roster he would eventually build into a contender.
The media is making it seem like just cuz he thought they could make the playoffs, that somehow Phil was 100% behind this year's roster. How is that when we all know that most of the guys on the roster weren't locked in long term??? It was a test run and audition. Phil was optimistic, but once he realized that it was a disaster he did the right thing and flushed it. It was a 1 year PATCHWORK. Now it's a rebuild. No more games with these players. Just start over and bring in better 2 way talent. NO MORE PATCHWORK.
Get a good draft pick that can hopefully form part of a new core. Sign a few solid Free Agents that actually fit together and can play 2 way ball. It would be a good start to a better future.
Is Phil going to give 100% effort this off-season, Nix? Can you promise?

On the right track to do what, every body on the team is a horrible ass fit for this system, and the players are getting worse by the game. We were at least competitive for the first month of the season. Now this team comes out, plays no defense, and shoots the same jump shots they shot for the first 42 games, the same TO's, running the same boring predictable play.
Your not developing anyone if you are telling them to go out their and lose games.
