Philly is not happy with either player. Although he has yet to play in the NBA, it was projected that Ambiid was going to be a special young player. Why not trade our pick and Hardaway to Philly for those two players? Not my ideal trade, but we could possibly get the PG we desired in MCW

we are not allowed to trade our pick, otherwise, it would be a sensational trade.
Embiid is up to 300lbs and there are questions about his work ethic. It will be interesting to see how he turns out. P

Fat, lazy player with injury concerns? A shoot first PG who shoots abysmally? SIGN ME UP!!!!

Yeah. It doesn't seem like putting on an extra 50lbs is a good way to rehab your broken foot. Also, the kid is 20. It seems like gaining 50 lbs at that age would be pretty hard to do.

Plus he broke his back and later his foot, before even playing an nba game- red flags galore
MCW is overrated and Embiid's value is lower than it was last year.

Who's the "we" that's desiring MCW??
Any one of the top picks in this draft is likely to be better than Embiid or MCW. I'd pass on such a deal. We're in a good position right now. We'll see how it plays out but I like our chances.

I agree.
I was just thinking outside of the box folks. I don't really like that deal either. I just hope and pray we can find another too pick in this draft.
