Maybe it really would be in Jahill Okafor's best interest to move back to lets say 258- 260 from 273? I think it would help him immensely in terms of defense and rebounding. At 260 he would still be an over powering 4 but I think he would get more out of his game(with his 7-5 wingspan) if he had more mobility and explosion from being 15 pounds lighter
See, looking at OK4 I never think of him as being particularly overweight.
If we can get a top three pick in this draft I will be very happy!!!!!!
Melo-top scoring 3
High Pedigree rookie
Cap space for one max player and some good pieces!
Thats a nice start to a multi year rebuild. Hate we don't have our pick next year but If we took Russel and some how able to sigh Marc Gasol I'd be pretty excited.
Melo, Oka4 or Towns also gives us a great base too!!!!
Looking back 6 weeks ago here was my top 10
12/29/2014 11:06 AM
1 Jahill Okafor
2 Karl Towns
3 Emmanual Mudiay
4 Willie Stein
5 Frank Kaminsky
6 Deangelo Russell
7 Delon Wright
8 Stanley Johnson
9 Tyler Harvey
10 Christian Wood
6 weeks LATER
1a. Karl Towns C/PF
1b. Deangelo Russell PG/SG
1c. Jahill Okafor PF
---------------------
4. Bobby Portis PF
4b. Kristaps Porzingis PF
4c. Emmanuel Mudiay PG
4d. Christian Wood PF
-----------------------
8. Justice Winslow SF
8b Stanley Johnson SF
8c Kris Dunn PG
8d. Rakeem Christmas PF
---------------------------
12 Willie Stein C
Basically 7 of the same guys are still there 6 weeks later with addition so Portis Christmas and Winslow. I had Stanley Johnson #8 in both mocks.
christian wood looks interesting... i haven't gotten a chance to see him play but the stats look very good on him...

He's a unique player--hes got a lot of upside on both ends of the court
Boy how many 4 point 3 rebound games can Mylkes Turner have and stay a top 10 mock pick? At some point do you look at a Bobby Portis and realize he is also 6-11 245 but is actually a 20-10 player?
towns playing vs tenesse, wole team ben terible
Towns has sat out the whole half since he has 2 within 1 minute. Really been missing him on the offensive and somewhat on the defensive end.
Kentucky's guards still don't know how to utilize Towns and get him involved

agree ... he barely gets the ball
Tennesse is playing a heck of a game defensively

they are.
Kentucky is gonna get beat in the tourney.
Stein has impressed me far more than towns. He is so active and versatile.
towns usually shares the court with stein who's a zero and makes for a clogged paint...
Low IQ play by stein, the hell is your tree ass doing dribbling the ball up like that
Booker is really good, can shoot anywhere, Bit like Klay thompson

Agreed, he is a turnover machine in the post but his defensive instincts will serve him very well in NBA
Ketucky is getting away from em now
what I do like about towns is that he will not force shots to get himself going (like you know who). He will keep moving the ball.
he hasn't gotten the opportunities... it's been an ugly game but kentucky is way different with towns on the floor even when he's not getting his touches...
what i do like is towns is everywhere on defense contesting everything...
pathetic the amount of shots from Kentucky's guards vs the amount of shots from there bigs
Towns 1 shot
Johnson 1 shot
Stein 4 shots
