kings get bledsoe
suns get #4
knicks get #6 and #13

we could never pull off a trade like that ... its a complete fantasy

Lets hope if Okafor goes 2nd as expected OR
if he doesn't

Philly 76ers pick either Okafor , Emmanuel M., OR Proziggy or whatever the next Dirk Nowitski guy's name is *LOL

I still like Winslow however if by accident stud guard Russell DROPs to #4th pick
Knicks should be arrested if they don't pick Russell !

I agree. However, if it turned out that Russell is off the board by #4, I'd strongly consider this deal if available. Given the Kincks' lack of depth, it's a safer move than snagging Zinger or Mudiay. In fact, we might still be able to grab Mudiay with #6, and then one of Kaminsky, WCS or Lyles at #13.

But doubtful this happens.

trading down seems like a no brainer at this point but also (at this point) that 4 looks less and less valuable.

Great article to get a different perspective on some of the draft prospects.
Not good at quoting article from mobile.

The health issues of Stein may hurt his stock; which is not fair if you ask me. That dude is by far the most ready big men in this draft and would fit nicely with the Knicks. I hope this news does not impede Phil's desire to draft this kid.

5% chance of a trade down? Maybe now we can chill with all if these fantasy trade down scenarios and focus on #4

Im convinced that we are taking Stein. In fact I think this whole BS about Steins foot and the drops in the mock were done artificially.

Here s my bet Stein 93%

The field 7%

@4 or trade down pick?

wargames @ 6/23/2015 3:22 PM
Everything he is saying makes me think its WCS though who knows it would be weird to let the smokescreen drop so soon before the draft.

I'm afraid that phil is like the guy at the fantasy draft who makes picks just to get oooohs and aaahs and show off how smart he is, rather then just picking the best player available

if he picks stein at 4 he might as well pack his bags and go back to la. Stein is compared to tyson chandler which is ok for a playoff team but not a team who needs a impact player

At 4???

No way Briggs…not happening. Not at 4, and this has nothing to do with the guy most know I prefer. Maybe a trade down, but not at 4.

Favorite consensus pick is Russell. Safe picks would be Kaminsky or Winslow, IMO, but you can probably get either of them by trading down.

You and I both know that Stein will stymy our offensive game, and I honestly believe that the interview he did the other day would almost be a red flag in regard to Jackson picking him, and you know it was brought to his attention. Showed a lack of maturity, IMO, which was brought out even more to me after I heard Russell and Towns interviewed on the radio the past few days.

That injury stuff about Stein is meaningless to me- played a long college season with no issues- I just don't believe he is the guy you want in our offensive system.

Don't know about what he feels about Mudiay, don't think he's in the mix.

I would take Russell before Porzingis and Porzingis over everyone, except perhaps Kaminsky, to be honest, especially if you want a guy who can do everything you want a big to do on your team.

On thing about Porzingis, by the way. Which player, except perhaps Kaminsky, has more experience playing against superior competition of the top tier prospects? Which player was going up against and playing with former professional ball players in pro-style offenses, and given a lot of responsibility? The only guy in the draft who really has more experience might be Hezonja, who we know Phil will not take.

Stein would be a guy you "settle" for, definitely not the BPA at 4.

wargames @ 6/23/2015 4:46 PM
Well Phil is pretty smart all of the statements could and probably are smokescreens
