It's feels good to be remembered. I met a few former players in ransom places myself.
I'll share a Charles smith story. I ran into him on 33rd and 8th he was walking by himself dressed in business attire. I kind of shook my head at him and looked away. He walks over to me and asks me if I was a knick fan. I say yes. He goes "im sorry man". That cracked me up and we shared a laugh. We had a friendly exchange and wished each other well and went on our way. That was cool. He knows fans hate him cuz of those put backs.
Many are cool. Bumped into David Robinson in midtown and the dude was nice and engaging.
travis best at atl airport on the terminal train. gave me pointers on "how to become an athlete's agent / money manager"

Bumped into Charles smith at the DMV in wayne nj years ago. I've brought it up here a bunch of times. And Mike Piazza up the upper east side
Bumped into Harvey Grant at DMV helping his son get a drivers license. His son is a good college player....I forgot what school he goes to. But his son is the same height and skinny as hell. He has a younger son in HS thats just as tall.
Talked to Earl Barron a few times during some poker games at Maryland Live Casino. I asked him do players like playing with Melo? He said its not the players thats the problem its the system and coach (this was b4 phil). He wouldnt have a problem playing with Melo and believes others feel the same way. I said I bet nobody knows who you are? He said he likes it like that. Very aggressive poker player. Raises everything.....
