Sorry to inform The Answer Man of your opinion?

Sounds like sorry is not the appropriate word.

Sorry that we are 6-36. Not sorry that everything must change.

misterearl @ 1/21/2015 6:51 PM
The Answer Man Never Claimed To Be Perfect, Just Perfectly Orange and Blue

Q. sidsanders: is early going to be getting dnps in this lineup?

A.

Starters
G Shane Larkin (which makes point guard a glaring deficiency, can we find one that is 6'4?)
G Langston Galloway, who may blossom before our disbelievin' eyes
F Clay-Anthony Early, who slides to a reserve role, replaced by a free agent, preferably one under 27 years old
F Quincy Acy, who slides to the bench when our first round draft selection arrives
C Cole Aldrich (which makes center a glaring deficiency, can we find a 6'11 gazelle?)

Reserves
G Summer League discovery number 1
G Tim Hardaway Jr
F Travis Wear
F Lance Thomas
C Louie Amundson

Pine Brothers
G Summer League discovery number 2
F trade deadline acquisition
F Renaldo Balkman
C best big man walking the streets

Nice Catch sidsanders

Watching all the kids and no-names scrambling around on D.

Encouraging signs. Remember the first two weeks of training camp?

misterearl @ 1/22/2015 8:40 PM
Encouraging Signs

Starters
G JOse Calderon, who seems to be finally settling in
G Langston Galloway, keep him
F Clay-Anthony Early, incomplete
F Quincy Acy, honorary banger
C Jason Smith, showing signs of being ambulatory)

Reserves

G Tim Hardaway Jr, less ego, less dribbling, fewer shots, more defense
F Travis Wear, understands the game, needs work, Summer League
F Lance Thomas, he's from Brooklyn, he gets a pass
C Louie Amundson, could stay as a twelfth man

Pine Brothers
to be named later

Are you serious, we just gave shump and JR for these no name try outs. Had fisher stuck to a 9 to 10 man roster and let guys get comfy, we wouldn't be a laughing stock.

Fisher is the sole reason we are a very bad team. Now he decided to play 10 guys instead of 15, and you see the results. He was as dumb founded as the players he was coaching. I want fisher to win games, I want these players to build confidence in themselves and the coaching staff to learn how to win close games.

There's no way on earth you keep a coach that lost 65+ games

misterearl @ 1/23/2015 3:51 PM
knicks1248 - two years ago, people said the same thing in Atlanta about getting rid of Joe Johnson, Lou Williams and Marvin Williams.
holfresh @ 1/23/2015 3:57 PM
ATL added vets...Yoots don't win in this league..Look at the difference between the Knick 54 win and 37 win team..Vet bench..Which is why I was surprised Phil thought he had a playoff team with the yoots on the bench...Very early on, when I saw Clayanthony Early and Ware in a game in the first quarter, either the coach don't know or we be tanking...Was both..
BRIGGS @ 1/23/2015 4:42 PM
Kentucky is the youngest College team in the us. Also number 1

We need to rebuild with youth. The right youth and to change habits to sustain long term winning.

holfresh @ 1/23/2015 4:47 PM
Philly could destroy Kentucky...Apples and Oranges..Winning starts at the management level..

We don't need encouraging signs. We need talent that have decent understanding of the game. Out of all of those guys that are there, I would only keep, Galloway, Melo( we have no choice), Early, Acy, Amundson(if he keeps on playing like he does) T-Wear(I agree with you, he does need more work and also a lot of aggression) and if and only IF we get a lot of backcourt talent off season, then I would keep J-smith as 15th man. After that I would fill the roster up with talented younger dudes out there and proven players.

TPercy @ 1/23/2015 5:06 PM
I would also keep larkin if we drop the triangle or run a modified version of it that can complement the quickness of his game.
misterearl @ 1/23/2015 5:51 PM
Lets' Go To the Scoreboard

holfresh - vets

BRIGGS - yoots
