Since Galloway has been part of the team, I am seeing more smart plays from whoever is on the court. I do t know if it is because he is such a good rebounder/defender at his size, but you can feel that our players are more more engaged. I like the addition of Admunson, Galloway and the other new dude.
Im glad galloway is getting time and doing well. HOWEVER its in their best interest to not start winning. We desperately need a top 3 pick
That was going to happen. My bet is we start back down the path of losses upon losses very soon. When you play a team missing its two best players on a back to back 4 games in 5 nights on the road--you usually win those. They carried some momo into tonight and Noel did not play. Pretty easy call. Now we will play teams that score well into the 100's which we cant do.

I actually want us to win a few games to revitalize the moral of our players and fans. Don't worry, we will still be in the lottery. It is important that Fisher shows that he can at least coach to attract FAs

i dont buy that. Free agents wiil come because we have much money to spend not because we won a few extra games
Knicks are a bout to take a mad L against Orlando and we will probably lose to Charlotte and start anothe rlosing streak so, lets enjoy these while we can/
Having the worst record doesn't mean automatic first pick you guys know that, most of the time the worst team doesn't get the first pick. It does give us the best chances but sadly we'll probably finish better than Philadelphia and Minnesota unless Melo gets shut down and has that surgery.
This win streak stops here though, Vucevic is about to eat against us and Charlotte has been hot lately about to take the 8th seed from Brooklyn only a few games under .500 now.

Galloway's playing well. A little better player than I've been giving him credit for. I still like Bryce Cotton's game a little better (Cotton's been the best PG in the DL this year) but Galloway's looked good. Wanna give credit where credit's due.
What's up with no Cleanthony Early?? We gotta see this kid play. I though he looked good against HOU in that home blowout a few games ago. What'd he have in that game, 16 pts right? Has he played since? Dude's gotta play, man. Let's see what he's got. As long as he's healthy (is he hurt?) he should be getting 25-30 mins a night right now. Why the DNPs? I don't need to see anymore of Travis Wear. I don't see it with Wear--I don't feel he's an NBA player. Early is though -- much better talent that desperately needs to be developed. Early's gotta play ahead of almost everyone -- Wear, Acy, Lance Thomas, Amundson...even Stoudemire. None of those guys should be on the team next year. Early's clearly a keeper though. Robert Covington's looked great for Philly so far. I think we have a similar player with Early. Can we start seeing more of him please, Fish? Thanks. WTF?? If we're gonna lose a majority of our games the rest of the way--if nothing else, go down developing Early and Galloway for next year.
EDIT -- just saw that the reason he hasn't played the past couple of games is a sprained ankle. Was expected to play against the Sixers. I guess Fisher just gave him an extra game. Dude's gotta get 25-30 mins a night and plenty of shots at the basket the rest of the way. Simple as that. Best/most promising young player we've got here.
Get me them PING PONG BALLS, gonna have to Cut and do some trades if we continue to WIN
Seriously though, we really should not be anything higher than TOP 3, as in we should be the TOP 3 worst teams
I like Galloway a lot he brings great energy and has a c billips type of game. Sweet shooting touch, knows how to play team ball, great defense. Love that he can play ether position. With that 6'8 wing span he really has no problem grading the two spot and is a really good rebounder and pick pocket guy.. Best part is with more time he's going to get better... This is why we need to trade caldron, and sign gallo to a 4 year contract now on the cheap.
Have Gallo start at the pg spot the rest of the year, with thjr the starting two, we got to give Timmy a chance it will also up Timmy's trade value come draft day if Phil chooses to go that route.
I like the energy that leu and Thomas bring and wouldn't mind signing those guys to min contracts for two years they seem like great practice players and end of bench back ups, like the spurs everyone on the 12 man roster can come in and play when called on..
The nice thing that Gallo brings is ball movement something we were seriously lacking with jr and shump.. And we all know the triangle depends on ball movement..
If we move Pablo, caldron, and waive brags we'll have a lot of room to bring in some young guys to fill out the roster, like Seth curry, Quincy miller, we can also see if j green sticks with the spurs ..I like Lou as our back up center he'll always give 100&10 percent kinda reminds me of Chris Dudley

You're right, but the beauty of the worst record is that you can't fall low than fourth in terms of picking
You selfish bastards...
it had always been about establishing the System and a culture.....what we are seeing now is that actually happening. It's clear shump and jr smith were cancers. Win or lose this group needs to show a foundation of change that can be explained to free agents. How can they fit? Now we can show them.
why doesn't Early play? Just makes no sense to me.

You are right about the lottery. However i just have a bad feeling that the Knicks will start winning and end up with a 6-10 pick instead of a 1-3 pick

Please stop calling him Gallo. It's unpleasant.

But how does losing help fisher develop as a coach and the players he's coaching, which is much more important as a franchise, then praying you land a draft pick, that has a 50% chance of being a very avg player.
You guys kill me with this short term thinking

Is that still sarcasm like you said?
Anyway, as someone pointed out, having the worst record doesn't gaurantee the first pick. It would actually serve the knicks well to win some games.

I agree with this.
You cant obsess about tanking its stupid.
If the Knicks play .500 the rest of the way (19-20 over their remaining 39 games) they would finish 26-56 (.317)
If everything else is status quo that would have the Knicks with the 4th worst record. I think most agree that scenario is impossible, but even IF we did we are still going to be just fine.
I want a high pick also. Im not going to demoralize the franchise for to max my chances. There is some balance here. Melo will have surgery, the kids will fight and win some games here and there but whats the best a realistic scenario? 10-29? 15-24? If we finish 15-24 we would be 22-60 overall and that would put us 3rd. I think thats a good spot to be in.
We will be fine

I agree. Establish the system and identify players that can fit within it. But, Calderon,Jayson Smith,Amare, and Bargnani are doing this system a disservice. Their presence alone have retarded the enactment of the system. I really don't know why they are still around. Specifically, Bargnani and Amare.
Is Seth Curry a decent defender or just a pure shooter???
